How likely are you to recommend CDC Mental Health Services?
What patients say on Google
“I went here years ago. Janice, the therapist, made me feel like I couldn’t be open and honest about my problems. She acts nice, but says things here and there that make you just feel dismissed. She makes you feel like you’re being judged in a way. Her solution to my problems was to just send me home with workbook packets that I had to do and bring back. So many packets. As an autistic person who never excelled in school and hated homework, this was worse than school work. Did not help in any way. Emily, the prescriber, just tried to drown me in medications. I remember there being at least 4 she had me on. Then they’d get changed at appointments. I never felt regulated. It felt like an emotional roller coaster. The icing on the cake, is I got fired as a patient. Janice was being extremely strict with scheduling and I tried to express my concerns that I couldn’t make them as frequently as she wanted them. She didn’t care. She autoscheduled me several appointments a month or 2 out. Between work, and a horrible living situation I was in, I missed appointments. I tried to explain why. No one cared. Sorry I missed appointments because I lived with someone abusive who didn’t like when I left the house. Thanks for taking away my chance at help. I eventually got the help I needed, but not thanks to this place.”
“They said their case loads are too full with clients. So they try to send you to the Hamilton office. They stretch your appointments out every 3 weeks for a 1 hour visit. They won't help you get on the medication you need. But instead spin you around and play they're waiting game when you need help. Good luck with that CDC memo services I'll go somewhere else thank you for wasting my time my gas money and my patients. And this is Michael Herman in case CDC reads this not my girlfriend.”
“I would suggest using another center. The scheduling is a nightmare with numerous calls made to me to reschedule my appointments , each time pushing it back 2 or more weeks. I do not believe this is a good practice for business of any kind let alone a counseling service. I am also a self pay meaning I pay cash for each 1 hour visit and the sessions have been shortened to 45 minutes. I do not believe this center has my best interests in mind. They only want my money.”
“The building itself has bedbugs. After I brought that to their attention, I was informed they know and "spray it" every month. DO NOT RECOMMEND”
