“I enrolled my daughter in this program to receive mental health support. She was accepted into a two-month program based on the severity of her mental health needs. During those two months, we were only provided with one family session. There was little to no communication regarding my daughter’s progress. We were not given routine updates, and despite repeatedly requesting at least weekly phone calls, I only received approximately two calls during her entire stay. Additionally, the staff did not present themselves in a professional manner. Communication often felt unprepared and unpolished, with frequent filler words that made it difficult to feel confident in the care being provided. The program failed to support her education. At the time of admission, I was informed that they work closely with Mansfield ISD to ensure students remain current with their schoolwork. This did not happen, and no meaningful educational support was provided. They didn’t respect or follow through with requests I made regarding my daughter’s care. Because of these experiences, I would not recommend Carrus in Mansfield, TX to any family seeking mental health support for their child.”
