How likely are you to recommend Carrus Care Flower Mound?
What patients say on Google
“We have had a mixed experience at Carrus Care Flower Mound. The front office staff and general staff members we interacted with were kind, welcoming, and professional, which we genuinely appreciate. However, we have serious concerns regarding clinical supervision and group safety. One of the therapists we worked with (Dylan) often gave the impression of being unsure or unsteady in his role, and at times his tone came across as easily frustrated, which did not feel reassuring in a therapeutic setting. We also had concerns about how the group environment was being managed. There appeared to be ongoing issues with peer behavior, including bullying and disrespect among teens, that did not seem to be consistently addressed by staff. We were also uncomfortable with the lack of intervention around inappropriate behavior and overall group boundaries. Most concerning, there was a physical altercation involving another teen in the program that resulted in my child being injured. Following this incident, my child was discharged. We have since filed a police report regarding what occurred. We feel the situation was not handled in a way that ensured appropriate safety or accountability. While we are grateful for the kindness of some staff members, we ultimately feel there are serious concerns regarding supervision, safety, and behavior management within the program.”
“I do not recommend this place at all for your children. We had a horrible experience. A staff member caught herself in her own lies while demanding my child be discharged. Then came back and said actually no we aren't going to discharge her. This was after my daughter tried to tell staff the previous week of other patients having brought in contraband ( Vape, pills and gummies) which I was made to think my daughter lied to me because that would NEVER happen per the staff member. (One of the managers) yet I get a call today stating my child and another patient was caught vaping. Even though a staff did not physically see my daughter doing it, it was an automatic discharge. Remind you my daughter tried to tell them the previous week that there was a vape and other contraband and they said they did not see it so they couldn't do anything about it and it was (IMPOSSIBLE). Yet didn't see my child vape but was automatically discharged. After being told she was no longer discharged I still decided to discharge her. The staff is not good with children they will tell them to shut up, cut them off when they are trying to have discussions. And was even told by said manager that they can't handle/ aren't used to dealing with some of the children with more complex problems. Needless to say just find a better facility!”
“I had the pleasure of talking to Lindsey about their services. It was just what we needed at the time. I just wanted to get on here and let her know her work is appreciated. Thank you Lindsey!!”
“The staff are fantastic and make every step of the process clear. Wonderful place for kids to heal and love that they take many insurances including Medicaid plans!”
