“Carolyn is absolutely amazing! I have had some bad experiences with other Psychs. Nothing they did wrong perse, we just weren’t a match. Not the case with Carolyn at all! I felt so comfortable and instantly clicked from day one! It’s so easy to talk with her and I feel she truly understands what I am going through and able to really help me the way I need. That’s not only with medications either. She remembers what we’ve talked about from previous visits and makes sure to follow up on how I’m feeling. When it does come to meds, she really makes sure to explain what to expect. I came in saying I wasn’t even willing to try stimulates and she was able to explain to me how both stimulates and non stimulants work and what side effects to expect. She was right and my life has done a complete 180 in such an amazing way! She truly cares and is one of a kind in my opinion! Highly highly recommend giving her a chance if you’re in need!”

“As a 29yo who has STRUGGLED her entire life, Carolyn is the ONLY one who sat and took the time to get to know ME as a person not just my diagnoses. She isn’t quick to end our appointments and doesn’t make me feel like just another patient. I recommend her to ANY millennial looking for an actual psych that CARES. She has taken a huge weight off my shoulders the last 14 months and I never intend to leave her.”

“Doesn't respond to messages. Underprescribes medication. Only wants to prescribe seroquil. Asked questions and advice then discharged me without notification except a registered letter where she couldn't even spell my last name correctly. Gave recommendations that don't support my insurance. Liked her at first but constantly cut visits short by 15 minutes, usually. No support for narcissistic abuse issues. Could not ever get a clear picture of who she was working for. Grow therapy or Uplift Mental Wellness. Not interested at all recommending help for extreme PTSD or other issues from bipolar and narcissistic abuse symptoms. Dropped me without even refilling anxiety and sleep medications. Left her six messages-no response. Sent several messages via Grow Therapy's web portal-no response. I would urge anyone not to deal with this nurse practitioner. She apparently is not very experienced or skilled to deal with bipolar 2 disorders and survivor of narcissistic abuse issues. Told her repeatedly seraquil is ineffective and that another medication was giving me acid reflux. Her response was to go to my doctor and get a script for heart burn/acid reflux. Now I have found a doctor not a nurse to help me. Her discharge letter had no explanation for why I was discharged and was condescending while brief. Couldn't even give me a heads up that she was going to pull this. If you have bipolar 2 and are a survivor of narcissistic abuse, Ms. Harkness, in my opinion is thr last person you should trust your psychiatric needs in. Wanted me to pay $250.00 for a same month follow up as she did not refill my prescriptions for sleep and anxiety. Completely unprofessional and totally disinterested in helping me. Sad and a waste of my time. I would give zero stars if this survey would allow it as one star is too high of a rating.”
