How likely are you to recommend Caring Hearts Mental Health Services, LLC?
What patients say on Google
“Maryann is a wonderful and caring provider. One of the best there is. She is amazing with my daughter and is the first provider my daughter has been comfortable opening up to. I highly recommend her! We have had no issues with her office.”
“I’ve been a client of Maryann’s for about six years and have always had a positive experience—until she transitioned to her new practice. Unfortunately, the office manager, who is also her husband, has made interactions extremely uncomfortable. His demeanor comes across as dismissive and rude which is concerning and disappointing in a mental health setting where compassion and understanding are so important. I always found myself being anxious about calling the office, as he is the only person available for scheduling or addressing concerns. His communication is inconsistent, poor and confusing. He’ll say one thing but seem to mean another—and his lack of empathy is evident. Because of a mistake he made, I experienced my first panic/anxiety attack in over a year, which speaks volume. When I explained how I felt about the situation to Maryann, she didn’t take any steps to address it. Instead, she immediately sided with her husband without giving me a chance to explain my side and spoke to me in a surprisingly unkind manor. I have never felt so embarrassed and unheard in my life. If you’re looking for a professional, respectful, and well-organized practice, I would NOT recommend this one. Do not waste your time like I did for 6+ years.”
“The google reviews do not match the experience we have had with this office. She has been great working with our family member and we have referred her to others. As it pertained to George he is direct and to the point which is not a bad thing in my opinion. He is responsive and had been able to get appointments scheduled in a timely manner.”
“Mary Ann is decent. Unfortunately, her husband/office manager, George, is inept and unprofessional. It is ironic because Mary Ann left her last office because of the unprofessionalism (and why I followed her to her practice). They outsource their insurance claims handling and somehow the practice’s address given to the insurance was actually a CVS pharmacy. My insurance processed the claims as point of service because of the address error. Caring hearts then charged my credit card for those visits. For some reason George, nor their outsourced insurance claims handler, would help resolve this. George told me it was my problem to sort out with the insurance company (patients have nothing to do with what address is given to insurance companies). He said I would not be refunded because they did nothing wrong. In the end, I did the work for them making multiple calls to the insurance company. And guess what? Just a few days later the insurance reprocessed the claim and paid them. Mary Ann was gracious enough to message me that they had refunded the charges on my credit card. Going back and forth with George was like arguing with a toddler having a tantrum. I don’t have time for shenanigans and have switched to a new provider solely due to the way the office is run.”
