What patients say on Google

“I have had good visits with the Wetumpka mental health. The lady who works front desk has always been helpful to me as well as other staff. The only issue I have is bout a month ago they said they didn’t have a doctor the one who prescribes the medicine . Have not received a phone call yet saying that have a new doctor. I’ve tried calling several times and I get no answer so before I run out of medicine I’m going to have to physically go up there to get some answers”

“I was referred to this place by my doctor after being put on medication. I had to wait three months for an intake appointment, which in my opinion is ridiculous but I understand that places like that can be booked out. My appointment was today, I called this morning to reschedule because I had an unexpected family emergency and would not be able to be on my phone to do the intake appointment. The lady I spoke with was RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and UNPLEASANT. “Well our services are important” AFTER I explained I had a family member in the CICU and could not be on my phone. I asked her if I was going to have to wait another 3 months for an appointment, and she rudely said “Yeah yeah” and I kindly told her I would no longer be using them. If you get referred here, GET A DIFFERENT OPTION ASAP! Unless you like dealing with rude unpleasant people.”

“My wife was just referred to Carastar and will be running out of her medication prescribed to her at the hospital. When she called in reference to getting refills they basically told her that until she sees their doctor they will not send in a refill and will not help contact whomever needs to be contacted to get her help. In a nut shell they said they do not care if she runs out her medication that it is not their problem. The lady who answered the call spoke down to her and was very rude so I got on their to try and makes sense and she was rude to me as well. My wife will not be going there and if you were referred there I would look for another company that cares about their patients health.”
