“I went yesterday. The therapist I saw was Laura Jackson. She seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. I asked specifically for someone who could accommodate my need for CBT because I have epilepsy and psychogenic non-epileptic seizures. They gave me her who had no idea what epilepsy even was. That wasn’t even my biggest issue. She kept saying she was going to present my case for resources and that I was a perfect candidate when I just needed therapy. I told her I was not looking for a house or a job right now until I get these seizures under control. She kept pushing it. She then looked over at another resource and was talking about how good it would be for me and said “I know it says for non compliance and you’re not non compliant but you could use those resources.” In all I felt completely uncomfortable to the point where the anxiety almost triggered a seizure and I would hate to be in a place where someone doesn’t know seizure protocol. She also told me she wasn’t even LICENSED and that she was working on the license. That was a huge red flag for me. Honestly If anyone is thinking they are getting money from me after this awful experience.. they have another thing coming. The lady at the front desk was really rude as well. I just don’t understand. All I needed was someone who would listen and talk with me and instead I was a case study. Please if you care about your children and family, don’t let them go here. Don’t go here yourself. I won’t even get into the look of this place. I felt like I was in a ran down apocalyptic hospital. I didn’t even feel comfortable finding a bathroom in there. Waited until after I left but that is all I’ll say on that. I went there to calm my stress to stop the non-epileptic seizures through therapy and left with more stress than imaginable. 💔💔 I just wanted to get better. Now I’m back at square one. Please do better. Please fix whatever is wrong with this place and the staff. The world needs better people and better places. I have to put 1 star in order to make this review.”

“My daughter has an appointment coming up, and so I’ve been calling them to try to reschedule. I have called SEVEN times over the past 3 hours, but absolutely nobody will answer the phone. I’ve tried different extensions, as well as “0” for the operator. I’ve stayed on hold through the answering system for as long as 7 minutes. No one answers. I made sure I called before and after the lunch hour posted on the website and I get nothing. If it weren’t for her therapist, I’d be taking her somewhere else. This is just one of many reasons why there’s a breakdown in the mental health system. No one even cares enough to reach over and pick up the phone. I urge anyone reading this to think it through. If you can’t take my word for it, read everyone else’s. Practices should never treat their patient’s mental health with such disregard.”

“Dr. Merrian is the worst doctor i have met, I have a foster child and we are advocate for her, she is 11 years old with odd, adhd among other things and she spoke ill of my child and family to the nurse, with us sitting right outside in hearing distance, we will not be back until that lady is not there anymore, she needs to be fired for speaking so harshly in front of my child! She has a cold heart, so since she said she didn't like my family she doesn't have to worry about us anymore, we just left! Also she was giving my child to much medication she was over medicating her! Please don't let her see your child from what i heard her say her job is just a paycheck she doesn't really care about her patients! Alot of kids deal with depression they don't need to be hearing this! She said we talked to much when she sees's us, I thought her job was to hear our issues and complaints!”

“I am pretty disappointed in this place. Their job is to help but they only hinder. My daughter who is 17 needs assistance with her mental health. If an effort to provide aid I sought resources from the Youth Facility who requested a letter stating my daughter had been seen more than 3 times in the past 6 months. I ask her therapist (Jasmine Harrell) who refused to write the letter. I honestly feel she is being spiteful due to the fact that I requested a new therapist a few months ago because even though my daughter has seen her for a few years, I do not feel my daughter was benefiting from the services she received from Jasmine. I believe if she had received appropriate assistance we wouldn’t be dealing with the current challenge. They could care less if it is another life wasted, all she had to do was state that she saw my daughter which I believe is simple but this just verifies she doesn’t care to help and obviously never did. Such a waste.”
