What patients say on Google

“Dr. Ghezelaiagh has been the best psychiatrist I have ever been too. He has a kind and warm approach. Dr. Ghezelaiagh takes his time and really gives a knowledgeable explanation for the course of treatment. He is easily reached through a patient portal and he responds in a timely manner. I felt comfortable with him right away and I feel confident that I chose him as my psychiatrist.”

“Ok my fellow troubled friends looking for help. Let me tell you my story so you can make the best possible decision for you. Been looking for help and every place has a waitlist. Finally found brookhaven psychiatry and the 1st appt was a few weeks away so i took it. They went through my insurance information and all my paperwork. The day of my 1st appt i took a half day from work in the afternoon so i can visit the office. That morning i get a call from the office manager (who i believe works remotely only half day and i think she even has issues getting questions answered from Brian) asking if instead I can come in during the morning which i said i couldnt as i had took off work. A little bit later i get a call again saying the appt would now be telehealth which there were no instructions and just confusing as hell plus it was with a different psychiatrist than I was originally told id be meeting. A great start to say the least. The 2nd appt i realized Brian doesnt want to hear your problems hes just curious whats wrong with your brain so he can begin pushing pills which it seems all psychiatrists are good for these days. Btw “Brian” is Dr. G, the owner and main psychiatrist there. Hes not my doctor nor would i recommend him to anyone so he doesnt deserve me calling him Dr. Anyways i get prescriptions and he schedules me for a month away to see how they work. Well i had many things to go over with him about my new meds but 30 mins prior to my 3rd appt i was told Brian does not take my insurance anymore and unless i want to pay $250 for 30 mins i will no longer be a patient of his. When I tried to get the answers about the meds HE prescribed me he refused to answer them. Oh btw he also doesnt answer emails directly or on weekends so try to stay sane on weekends guys. Lastly if none if this has persuaded you to stay away, they say they shut the phones off in the afternoon for the patients but when you get to the office its not very relaxing as he shares it with a dental office. I dont usually leave this nasty of a review but to be treated that way from a mental health professional is completely unacceptable and unless ur just looking for pills and not to talk id highly recommend to stay far away even if hes your last hope.”

“I am extremely grateful for the quality of care Dr. G has provided me. He has changed my life for the better with his recommended treatment. Dr. G is kind, encouraging, informative and conservative with his medical approach. He will not push you into uncomfortable treatments. If you are struggling with any mental illness, give his practice a call.”

“Dr. Ghezelaiagh has provided me with incredible insight and clarity. He is an excellent listener and creates a treatment plan that is most beneficial for his patients. He has changed my perception upon many things and I continue to look forward to our sessions together. I highly recommend his services to anyone who is struggling with their psychological well-being.”
