“The 5 star reviews for this place are bogus. I wonder if it isn't the staff and family giving them. My partner is a patietlnt here. Very first therapy appointment, the therapist was talking about how she sometimes wanted to end it all, and how she just lost someone. She turned the whole appointment into a trauma dump. Which is something you DO NOT DO TO PEOPLE CCOMING TO YOU FOR MENTAL HEALTH HELP! Second appointment went much better; we sat in the waiting room for an hour or more and listened to the receptionists talk out loud about patients, their problems, their diagnosis, etc. We sat on the furthest wall from the desk, so they speaking loud enough for it to be a MAJOR HIPAA violation. Then, when the therapist finally decided to call my partner back, she had to reschedule because "no one told me ypu were here." They have 0 communication skills - be it with the patients or each other. If you call for refills, you're lucky to get them within the month. None of the providers or anyone in that office that I've met yet deserve to be working with persons with mental health issues. The clinic needs shut down permanently or taken new ownership of. It's disgusting and pathetic. Id give negative stars if I could. And in today's day and age in this area of the world, it wont get any better. The only reason anyone takes the job is for a paycheck. Most of these people in this area don't really want to help anyone.”

“I worked with a few different doctors at this facility, two of which were great doctors and the third doctor was the reason I left this clinic. Christina Northwood was one of, if not thee worst doctor I’ve ever seen. She was extremely unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. She treated me like I was stupid and she basically threw a new medicine at me every single appointment. If I did not want to go along with it she would get very annoyed. If I ever had any ideas for what might help me she would cut me off and dismiss me before I could even say what I was thinking; she also made me feel stupid anytime I had a question. She would also never answer my questions. She even took me off of medications I specifically said was helping me and would put me on a new one so we could “just try it”. Which had extremely negative effects on me. The office environment is pretty negative as well, you feel like you’re being judged just by being there. Christina also refused to call my mother back, and the message she left for the receptionist to tell my mom was extremely rude! I was a patient of hers for about five months and I wish I would not have put up with it for as long as I did. I would not recommend the Briskoe clinic or Christina Northwood to anyone! The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because this is where I first saw my current doctor.”

“I love the briscoe clinic!! The whole staff is awesome!! A great place to get the help you need. My nurse practitioner, Holly Steely will do anything she can to help you have a better life. Very sweet woman. I totally recommend this place.”

“Tammy Carnes was very dismissive. Didn’t even speak to a therapist while I was there. Filled out paper work, and had to go have blood drawn. Then asked to make another appointment in two months. I won’t be returning. Totally dismissed everything said.”
