What patients say on Google
“I'm really sad Oluwakemi Mitchell is no longer there. She was wonderful. I really connected with her she was able to really talk to her and feel like she truly understood. She would even finish what I was saying with understanding before I could say it shaking her head in agreement like "yup I know what you mean". She was so empathetic and listened to me before she even mentioned what medication she thought would work best. I met with Rachel for the first time and just didn't get that she connection. She went right to talking about medication and diagnosis. I felt more rushed and if I talked I could see on her face like she really didn't want to hear it. It was like aaaw I'm so sorry but um so when do you want to schedule your next appointment lol. On the flip side the office looks nice and gives a nice feel walking in with the smell and stuff. But that's about it. But I just need my meds so I guess I'll find a therapist. I miss the other lady tho she was perfect. Rachel was nice but could work on it. Oh and front desk lady isn't so welcoming in person or on the phone”
“I would give Dr. Boutros himself 5 stars, but the staff at the front desk, phone, email, and office are rude, combative, incompetent, and lazy. My Veterans' Administration social worker and I both tried to get hold of them for weeks because of a billing problem that they created by not doing the VA's paperwork correctly. They were hostile to me when I passed the information along, and they were rude to the VA when they finally stopped ignoring calls. As I write this I am waiting for a telehealth link from Dr. Boutros. The receptionist, who is the rudest of them all, told me that he was with a patient and would send the link when he was ready. It's now 55 minutes past my appointment time, and I am curious whether they deliberately forgot because they are worried I will complain about them, or because they simply don't like doing the VA paperwork and would rather force us to find somewhere else, or because they simply don't concern themselves with doing their jobs. EDIT: Dr. Boutros did send me the link for the telehealth immediately after I posted this. He's a great doctor and at a great price, but I advise you to deal with the rest of the staff as little as possible. I will go ahead and change my review from two to 4 stars just because the doctor is very good and that's really the most important thing. 2nd EDIT: The rude, unprofessional, incompetent receptionist can be seen commenting on many of these reviews. It's bad, and I assure you it's even worse when you speak with her in real life. Allegedly this has been going on for years, despite supposed "new management" in the last couple of years. I am wondering if she somehow managed to deflect the blame for her behavior onto someone else and preserve her job by doing so.”
“I rarely leave reviews, but patients deserve to know what they may experience here. My experience with this office has been extremely disappointing. The staff is consistently rude, dismissive, and unhelpful when patients are trying to address legitimate medical and administrative concerns. Instead of listening or working toward solutions, communication often feels brushed off or minimized. One of the most concerning issues involved my request for medical documentation related to my FMLA paperwork. After initially indicating the paperwork would be completed, Nurse Practitioner Dipa Solanki later refused to fill out the FMLA documentation without providing a clear or specific reason. Because this paperwork directly impacts a patient’s employment and legal protections, delays and refusals without explanation create serious hardship. What made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of follow-up. After requesting clarification and additional communication, my messages were ignored and the office simply stopped responding to my requests altogether. I also had serious concerns about privacy practices and compliance with HIPAA standards. When patients are trusting a medical office with sensitive personal health information, professionalism and adherence to privacy laws should be a basic expectation. My interactions with Nurse Practitioner Dipa Solanki were particularly troubling. I felt my concerns about how medications affect my own body were dismissed, and the overall tone was pessimistic and dismissive rather than collaborative. Patients live in their bodies every day and should be able to discuss how medications are impacting them without feeling invalidated or talked down to. Because of the ongoing issues and lack of resolution, I have filed complaints with every appropriate oversight department available in order to ensure the matter is reviewed. Patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and supported when seeking medical care. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.”
“Brandon Psychiatric Group is the best psychiatric office I've ever been to. ALL employees treat you with respect and concern. The doctors actually listen and hear what you have to say about your mental health problems. They help you get your mental issues under control. I would like to thank them all. I want to send Mike in billing a special, "Thank you." He took care of a billing request for me in less than 10 minutes. I recommend this office to everyone I know and all those that I don't. They are definitely 5 star.”
