How likely are you to recommend Branches?
What patients say on Google
“I unfortunately cannot recommend this practice based on my experience. From the beginning, the process was extremely disorganized. After I signed up for counseling, I was told that I had apparently been there before (I have never been). I explained this, and they insisted that I had until they eventually realized they had the wrong person. My name is a unique name and spelling so it is not easy to confuse me with someone else. After admitting the mistake, they immediately began asking for my payment information, even though I did not yet have an appointment scheduled. When we spoke by phone, I felt extremely pressured to provide my credit card information. When I finally arrived for my appointment, I was told they did not have any of the information I had already submitted online. I started filling everything out again, and about 15 minutes into my scheduled appointment, they suddenly found the information they had apparently misplaced. Despite showing up on time and the delay being on their end, my session time was cut short. Unfortunately, the counseling itself was also just as disappointing. I was consistently given very generic, surface-level questions and felt that the counselor did not actually listen to what I was saying. I would explain something and she would compare it to something else or redirect the conversation, even when that comparison did not apply. Sessions were also routinely shortened. I was committing to hour-long appointments but was repeatedly let into the room late and asked to leave early, so I never actually received a full session. My last appointment was particularly frustrating. I was let into the room about 15 minutes late, and the counselor spent roughly the first 20 minutes on her laptop typing (nothing to do with me or my session). She would occasionally look up and ask very generic questions such as what I thought about compassion or happiness, without any apparent connection to what we had actually been discussing. Eventually, she had me watch a full Brené Brown YouTube video, which took up over 15 minutes of the session. I was then sent out early and told to schedule my next appointment with the front desk rather than having the counselor schedule it as she had previously. I ultimately decided not to return. Overall, my experience felt disorganized, impersonal, and much more focused on getting payment and moving through appointments than providing thoughtful, individualized counseling. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this practice to ask questions about how sessions are structured and make sure they are actually receiving the full appointment time they are paying for.”
“I called to ask if they did injections for mental health medications because I take an injection for Abilify. They told me they don’t typically get asked that, but that they would be able to since they have a nurse on staff. I went through a lengthy process of getting accepted as a patient, which took a couple of weeks. When I became accepted as a patient, and was in the process of scheduling, I was then told that they would not be able to administer the injection. Now, after all of this waiting, my medication is due again, and I have nowhere to administer it- which puts my Mental Health in dire jeopardy. This was very upsetting and unethical. I wish I had not wasted any time with this facility”
“Branches has been a great fit for me. I’ve been seeing Kaci for almost six months and have experienced noticeable changes in my overall mindset and daily life as a result. I love the clean and cozy office, the Christian environment, and the friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommend!”
“Branches has been integral in my mental and spiritual growth. Bill is knowledgeable and intuitive, and I know that the other practitioners have changed many lives here. So thankful for this organization.”
