How likely are you to recommend Bowen Health?
What patients say on Google
“Terrible place to go if you need psychiatric care. I have been on ADHD medication since I was 22 and I had to switch providers. Now Ive been out of my medication since October and have been having major issues with getting anything done. This place would not continue care and said I would need an official diagnosis again through them. They made it sound like I could tested soon. A friend of mine went to get tested and they told them the waiting list was 2 years. So I asked on my next visit and was told yeah it's going to take 2 years. 2 years to get any help from this place. Bowen centers doctors and psychiatrist can't diagnosis something as simple as ADHD. So I totally do not recommend this place at all. They leave their patients struggling to get mental health and do not care about their patients.”
“I don’t recommend the dental care if you are pregnant. I didn’t want to do X-rays because I am 8 months pregnant. The dentist said that they could not schedule a cleaning nor touch a tooth until X-rays were done. Pregnant women are encouraged to get dental cleanings for the health of the baby, so this approach seems very contradictory. My previous dentist had no problem with not taking dental X-rays during pregnancy so I was a little surprised by Bowen. I will not be going back. It’s a shame because I was so excited that there was a place in town that would accept my insurance but I would rather pay out of pocket at a different dentist than go to a facility that doesn’t prioritize patient’s needs over policy.”
“In the beginning, I thought I was really going to get somewhere. However, at my last appointment, my therapist was busy typing something unrelated to my case and even got up to clean her office all while I was speaking. I have left multiple messages for a supervisor who has never bothered to call me back. As of now, I have no therapist. I don't even know if I should try someone there or not. Every single psychiatrist canceled after I waited two months to get in. I wanted the results of the GeneSight testing I had done. Thank you for a year of nothing better.”
“I felt like I was in an assembly line. Prior concerns from last appointment were not addressed, didn't feel like my actual mental health or situation was important. Very much felt like "ask these required questions, up the meds, and get this guy out of here." For what im paying (150+ AFTER insurance for a 15 min appointment!?), this is absolutely unacceptable. Literally nothing about this appointment was new other than "we have no updates on your referral and weird your script didnt go through... lets do the exact same thing again." (Didnt work - I had to figure it out myself and tell them what to do!) There is a very good chance neither myself nor my family will be back because 4/5 of our experiences here already were like that. Appointment times are WAY too short for what is being charged. Feels more like a scam than help because now we have less money to go find someone who will actually engage with us and truly help.”
