How likely are you to recommend Bodh Center for Wellness, PLLC?
What patients say on Google
“Dr. Jain is my go-to South Asian therapist in north suburban Chicago if you’re looking to better cope with anxiety or family of origin issues. I have heard great feedback from my own clients who found her neuropsychological evaluations fast, comprehensive, and incredibly helpful in understanding their diagnosis. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re looking for someone that can see you now!”
“Dr. Jain is thoughtful, patient and uniquely qualified to provide therapy to South Asians, those who have experienced different cultures, and on mental health around pregnancy and parenting. She brings her expertise and clinical experiences in a nurturing and remarkably effective way. Highly recommend!”
“I’m sharing this experience solely to help others assess fit, not to argue policy. My experience with this practice was disappointing. When I had to miss a session due to a work emergency, I was charged the full $210 fee, which is unusually high for a first cancellation. I was aware there would be a cancellation fee, but the therapist did not disclose that there was a one-time waiver option that could cancel the fee. I later learned of the one-time waiver policy, which I only found out after asking, and it was described as a “freebie.” The therapist also implied that only health-related issues qualify as emergencies. After confirming I wanted to use the waiver, she didn’t notify me that the fee was removed; I discovered it by checking the client portal myself. When I chose to end services, her tone became defensive rather than understanding. In her final email, she expressed “disappointment” that I hadn’t chosen to discuss my concerns further, framing my decision as a missed opportunity for collaboration instead of acknowledging her role in the issue. In the termination paperwork, she stated that I was unwilling to engage in “collaborative or therapeutic repair,” omitting that trust had already been damaged by her own actions. Both her email and documentation appeared more focused on preserving her image and record than on accountability or accurate representation.”
“Dr. Jain is a thoughtful and inclusive psychologist and person who cares deeply about her clients and their experiences as humans. I appreciate her ability to consider the various systems that impact our daily lives, rather than placing responsibility for mental health "problems" solely on individuals. Her patience, genuineness, and expertise is so refreshing and grounding in an often frantic and disjointed world. Would highly recommend, including for those who have had disappointing experiences with other clinicians.”
