While we deeply appreciate the exceptional therapists and their dedication to their clients, our overall experience was affected by the center's strict policies. The therapists at Bluebonnet Counseling Center are truly exceptional. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and have made a positive impact on my son's well-being. Their expertise and genuine care are commendable, and we are grateful for the support they provided. However, our experience with the center's policies has been challenging. On one occasion, we encountered their strict time policy firsthand. Despite calling ahead to inform them that we were running slightly late due to unforeseen circumstances, my son was turned away for arriving two minutes past the 15-minute grace period. This experience was particularly stressful, as my mother, who was accompanying my son, had to deal with the disappointment of being turned away despite our efforts to communicate and adjust accordingly. While I understand the importance of maintaining schedules and respecting boundaries, the rigidity of the policy felt overly harsh and unforgiving, especially considering the nature of the facility as a place for mental health support. It added unnecessary stress to an already difficult day for both myself and my son. In conclusion, while I have high regard for the therapists at Bluebonnet Counseling Center, the strictness of their policies detracted from our overall experience. I hope they may consider a more flexible approach in the future to better accommodate unforeseen circumstances that may arise for their clients.”
