Finding a mental health provider can be intimidating, and after trying to find the right fit and human, I can honestly say I feel incredibly lucky to have found them here :). My provider, Emma Perry, has been nothing short of amazing. She's kind, thoughtful, and has always made me feel like a person instead of just another appointment on the schedule. I never feel rushed, and she always takes the time to really listen to what's going on, answer my questions, and work with me to find the best path forward. I always feel welcome if something comes up and have to miss an appointment, and they are wonderful at helping me stay on top of things. Never once has there been an ounce of judgement. Having someone who makes you feel heard and understood makes such a difference when seeking treatment or help, so I hope this is your sign to call or email them. Every single person I've interacted with, from the front desk to scheduling and the other staff, has been warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Bluebird Psych very much creates an environment that feels supportive from the moment you talk with your provider. Mental health care is difficult to find in Austin, and they've made the process feel approachable and extremelyyyy human. I'm incredibly grateful for the care I've received here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bluebird Psychiatry to anyone looking for a practice that truly cares about its patients. “This was my first time getting any sort of psychiatric evaluation done as a 20 year old and honestly I was scared going into it. Amazingly, the staff here is super reassuring and nice. They take the time to make you feel welcomed and comfortable! As for my experience itself, Dr. Ashley was super helpful in this first time process and I was super greatful to have met someone as patient as her. I highly recommend this place if you are a first timer like me and specifically if you’re looking to get evaluated for ADHD.”
