“At first, I thought Ellen was great. She was also familiar with my condition of Lyme Disease, which I was getting treated for. One day I called her to let her know that I was having a psychotic break, and then she no longer was willing to see me, because she thought I needed “Higher care”. She had access to be able to talk to my Lyme Disease specialist, but she decided not to speak to her. Come to find out, with the antibiotic I was put on, it was a common herxheimer reaction, to have a psychotic break. It only lasted two weeks before my symptoms stopped. I called multiple times and she was no longer willing to speak to me or see me. What is a Psychiatrist useful for if she can’t help someone through a temporary Mental Health dilemma? She is ignorant and should not be in practice!”

“This office was helping a close family member in a time of mental health crisis over the past several weeks due to a rapid change in medication that was improperly advised at the patients primary care doctor. The initial visit with Becky left us feeling hopeful and heard, but the follow through with the suggested care plan has been a huge disappointment. The one week follow up call never happened, the patient has been left to chase them down for necessary refills and assistance with FMLA paperwork to no avail. Our experience has not been a good one and I do not recommend them if you are looking for a supportive office that has their ducks in a row and will be there for you during a time of need. If you’re struggling with your mental health it is imperative to be working with an office and providers that make you a priority and follow through with the plan of care they have stated; Not doing so leaves people who are already struggling with one more hurdle and one more disappointment to push through. Please do better…. People are counting on you.”
