“Ive seen a few posts saying that Dr D was the glue that held blue ridge together, they were right. When she left it took a couple of months before I was seen by a new doctor. During that time I had a real bad breathing issue so I called figuring that I had been a patient at BRH for over 7 years and somebody could call me in a run of prednisone like Dr D had done in the past. Wrong. Trip to the Emergency Room. So I saw my new doctor yesterday, once again bad breathing problems and asked for prednisone. I have emphysema real bad and sometimes prednisone is the only thing that helps. Right now I'm looking at my primary provider giving me prednisone or going on hospice to get it. I guess the new doctor thought hospice is better than a prescription for prednisone. Anybody know somewhere accepting new patients?”

“Blue Ridge has a school based therapist service. I loved the idea about this was excited to get my daughter help at school. Worst mistake ever and never will I let any of my kids use this service. Kelly brey is the school based therapist at Erwin. I had to go to her supervisor and even to the board about her. I also work in mental health and have to flow ethics and boundaries. She has no clue what ethics are. Even after I ended services and got my child in a new program she kept calling my child and trying to see her. Kelly even lied to her supervisor I had to send in screenshots to show that she was breaking boundaries and ethics. Please if you need therapy for your child don't use this program. It brought in more problems to my family we didn't have before.”

I am a new patient, and was treated SOO VERY WELL, from the times I called prior to my 1st appointment, everyone was SOO VERY helpful and professional. Answered the phone with a smile, worked with me obtaining information, scheduled me in, and the appointment was smooth as silk. Extremely professional staff, knowledgeable, easy going, kind, and made the intake process a breeze. Dr. Maxwell was just AWESOME, very welcoming (like the entire staff to boot!), and was just an overall EXCELLENT experience here! I can't thank them enough, as I'm an easy going patient, but have a LIST of issues which I'm sure makes me a little more high maintenance, and which were addressed at my 1st appointment! GREAT communication, easy access, EXTREMELY professional, I knew I wanted this practice from my move up here, and wasn't disappointed in the least. If you have a choice, I'd recommend these folks and they DO NOT disappoint in the least!!! TY, Chris L”
