How likely are you to recommend Blue Ridge Health - Behavioral Health (Walnut Street)?
What patients say on Google
“I am only but a witness to several clients I have transported here for several years. The workers including front desk employees along with therapists and peer workers, behavior appears carefully controlled to remain within acceptable standards while still conveying disrespect, dismissal, and lack of regard. The issue is not overt misconduct, but the consistent pattern and tone. I would not recommend this place for anyone who seeks true mental support, especially if they are alone and do not have an advocate whom is perceived as a trusted and educated, whose social presentation aligns with conventional expectations, making their message more easily accepted. It is unfortunate this place is the only option small town Waynesville has to offer.”
“My friend came here for therapy and meditation. They said they would write her Klonopin-a woman who abusing klonopin the last six months and ruined her like on them. Crashed cars on them. Absolutely ridiculous. If you have loved ones in recovery keep them FAR FAR away.”
“UPDATE: Kept promising over and over to fix everything, admitting that there was indeed major issues, then dismissed me from the practice and the other provider that I actually had a great relationship with. They WILL retaliate against you if you tell the truth in a review. They are just the worst. The providers will stand you up for your appointments. You cannot get a call back from the providers, practice manager or billing. It’s a clown show masquerading as a healthcare provider.”
“This place is pretty special. They spread good throughout an under-served segment of our community by providing a safe place for neighbors recovering and healing, who might not have the means to stay in a rehab facility. People who have bills to pay, family to care for, and work to do (or find) and still deal with their personal demons have solace here. Tools are provided for work training, personal empowerment, healing through creativity, and many more classes and offerings (both in person/virtual), as well as personal mental health therapy sessions. This group perfectly exemplifies our mountain culture of hospitality and endurance while occupying a historic craftsman style home near downtown Waynesville. I really cannot give enough words of praise for this down-to-earth home-grown practice of truly caring professionals.”
