“First they referred me to a psychiatrist outside their practice which I have no idea why. That psychiatrist office never contacted me. Strike 2: I had a therapist lined up and spoke to her twice on the phone and set up an appointment and then she canceled and tried to push me off on another therapist. This was too stressful and told them to forget it. UPDATE: After two months there's a reply. I have no reason at this point to reach out. What if someone really needed help and you contacted them 2 months later about their bad experience? I luckily was able to find help and quite quickly and wasn't passed around like a joint at a Grateful Dead concert.”

“I recently was referred to this facility by a loved ones therapists office for physiatric help. I generally assist this person with scheduling intial consultations due to anxiety. Immediately when I tried to discuss with Brooke that I was hoping to schedule a consultation I was shut down and told to have them call. Which would have been okay, however once Brooke asked which insurance my loved one has and it wasn't accepted she decided it was not a good fit for my loved one. Even though I had said I would like to discuss self-pay I was told it would not be a good fit. Not once did Brooke show any interest in speaking about scheduling a consultation or a callback. The fact that a mental health professional could be so dismissive is very telling to the service provided and very heartbreaking for those with genuine mental health struggles.”

“I was referred to the clinic by a colleague at Henry Ford Health. I just cancelled my initial appointment and have to reconsider whether I want to pursue services here. The provider who I spoke with confirmed my email address and sent me a confirmation email, which I received. However, the staff members who attempted to send me access to the online portal conveniently left out the numbers in my email address and the access was given to my sister, who is unaware that I am pursuing mental health services (as I like to keep this private). This lack of attention to detail turned into a breach of confidentiality. I do not doubt that there are good providers at this clinic; however, I am uncomfortable moving forward at this time.”
