What patients say on Google

“Dr Beck is Very attentive and careful, especially knowledgeable with medication. He brought up things I had never been told or considered ! Michael n the front office staff are literally the best. So considerate and kind and go over and above to make sure you have what you need !”
Michal Carlock
“Forgot to make a review but something reminded me lately to do so. Applied to be seen here as I needed medical treatment in addition to my therapy counsling. Without even meeting me for a consultation I was told they wouldnt have time for me and to find somewhere else to go. I guess they only take on 'easy' cases. What a horrible thing to say to someone in need of help and suffering with CPTSD. "we dont have time for you." Dr.Beck does not seem like someone who should be in this field if he only wants money and easy to deal with appointments.”
Marion Mcghee
“As a psychologist in Atlanta, and group practice owner in Atlanta,I confidently refer patients to Biologic Psychiatry in Decatur. Drs. Beck and Robbins provide thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care. I especially appreciate their careful intake process — they assess fit before scheduling and are clear about who they can best serve. That level of discernment reflects real clinical integrity. Their medication management is balanced, collaborative, and grounded in current research. Patients consistently report feeling heard, respected, and well cared for. In our collaboration, they have been responsive, communicative, and clinically skilled. It’s reassuring to have a local psychiatric practice that prioritizes quality over volume and maintains high standards of care. I’m grateful to have them as colleagues and highly recommend them for psychiatric consultation or medication management in the Decatur/Atlanta area.”
Dr. Leah Farrell-Carnahan, Ph.D.
“Dr. Beck was recommended to me by Emory since they aren't taking new patients. Before scheduling, I was asked to provide detailed information about my condition and my insurance. I confided the reason for my visit to the receptionist. Then, I was repeatedly reminded of the costs and fees I would be paying out of pocket. Upon my initial visit, Dr. Beck immediately exposed me to the phobia that I had disclosed. It was extremely bewildering and upsetting, especially when he then smirked and claimed to have not been informed. After this, he declined to treat me further. It was recommended that I enter into a more aggressive treatment approach elsewhere, which is entirely valid and fine, except they knew I was paying out of pocket. I politely asked if they could do anything about the $430 fee I was being asked to pay, since all I got out of the appointment was a fear trigger. The receptionist called me back and patronizingly explained my visit to me again. (The doctor is happy to see me and charge me for visits after I obtain treatment elsewhere and am all cured!) Meanwhile, regarding the fee, she stated, "the silver lining is that you're that much closer to reaching your deductible!" Wildly out-of-touch response. By the way, I have an excellent BCBS PPO plan, which they would not accept because "it's coming up as Medicare" (it's not).”
