What patients say on Google

“Went here because I moved in with my boyfriend at the time now ex and while switching psychs I realized the new one did not cover my meds and I was going through withdrawls. I could barely think and mostly all I could do was have panic attacks. I went there and wasnt able to give my medical records due to not being able to reach the other place in time and barely being able to form clear thoughts in combination. I went here to get help and support so I could get back on my meds or find a healthy replacement. They accused me of being on drugs when the most ive ever done was weed for my chrons disease chronic pain and I hadnt even had that for over a week. They sedated me for anxiety attacks and I swore a patient from across the room came in and exposed himself. They denied the interaction but I feel it genuinely did happen. They treated me like I was making up the whole thing for drugs and threatened to lock me in a room in the dark alone for 24 hours to not disturb the other patients with my loud crying. I am very thankful I did not tell them the severity of my risk during this time so I was able to voluntarily leave. They perscribed me nicotine patches, ive never smoked nicotine in my life. I traveled back home to get help and went to the nyc Presbyterian psych ward. I was treated well, they saved my life. Never have I ever gone to a ward and had this horrific of an experience. If I could give 0 stars I would.”

“Considering this place is still allowing a child abuser that has irrefutable evidence against her, is still allowing her to attend says enough about this establishment. Do not give them any of your money or time. They are pro child abuse.”

“They wouldn’t let me drink my beer so I stole some of my roommates contraband gin.”

“If you are an explorer and you are in the area, take a drive up to the psych center. There are a lot of old buildings to admire and plenty of places to publicly walk and experience a bit of history.”
