How likely are you to recommend Better Stories Psychiatry?
What patients say on Google
“I was struggling with postpartum anxiety, followed by secondary infertility, when I found Megan Eberhart — and I truly cannot say enough good things about her. From the beginning, Megan was patient, kind, empathetic, and incredibly understanding. She never made me feel rushed, judged, or dismissed. She was open to me trying supplements, acupuncture, and other supportive approaches, and she never pushed prescription medication on me when that wasn’t the route I wanted to take. Mental health struggles are already heavy enough on their own, and adding infertility to that made it even harder. Finding Megan and Better Stories has honestly changed my life for the better. She listened to me, supported me, and advocated for me — including encouraging me to finally be evaluated for ADHD, which was such an important piece of my story. I feel like every woman walking through postpartum anxiety, infertility, or similar struggles deserves someone like Megan in their corner. I am so thankful I found her and so blessed by the care I’ve received through Better Stories.”
“Dr Tripp and Elisha deserve zero stars - negative stars would be more appropriate. Dr Tripp is rude and condescending. He regularly raises his voice to the point of making patients fearful and interrupts clients. He yelled at me until I cried because, in the midst of a crisis, I referred to Elisha by the wrong credentials. He does not know how to interact with other people on a basic human level. His arrogance is unmatched. Elisha habitually submits prescriptions wrong, she will make them the wrong dose or not fill them at all. She is also rude, cold, and does not have a functioning understanding of PTSD, OCD, and Autism. Her abuse started when I told her I would prefer to not be on a medication that would cause me to gain a lot of weight because I wasn't in the position to replace my wardrobe as I have had to do that in the past. She took that as a personal attack against her body size and abused me because she was in her feelings and was incapable of behaving professionally. When I disclosed to her that I was concerned that an upcoming life even was going to be triggering and was afraid it may result in an in-patient stay she told me to “stop threatening her” which doesn’t make any sense at all. This practice is dangerous and their neglect has directly caused someone to take their own life. They have been reported to and investigated by the state multiple times.”
“It’s unfortunate it’s hard to find good Psychiatrists within Pittsburgh. If you have any conditions that require stimulant medication and haven’t had a recent exam I recommend you look elsewhere. This practice has an all mighty policy that you MUST get an exam even when you explain you’ve had previous prescriptions through another provider. Beyond all that this place hasn’t had the best interactions and it feels like you’re bothering them. Mostly everyone I’ve interacted with in the mental health world has been compassionate and understanding, this place seems to take a different approach.”
“Dr. Eberhart has been working with me for about 4 years and we just moved into ADHD focused treatment. She got me an ADHD therapist referral and new meds that have been doing wonders. I can't say enough about her communication, patience and understanding. I would suggest this organization to anyone having mental issues. It can take many tries. But when its on, its on. Life gets better.”
