How likely are you to recommend Behavioral Health Systems, Inc.?
What patients say on Google
“Therapists who contract with them offer nothing more than anecdotal advice that one could find in a self-help book. They contract with psychiatrists who aren’t even taking new patients at the time, and those who do are not booking for at least two months. The entire experience actually shed light on the inaccessibility of quality mental health care based on the restrictions from insurance companies. After trying twice to find a good therapist, I just didn’t have the energy to tell my story one more time, so I just gave up.”
“This "mental health insurance" is really a joke. It's really not insurance I would just call it an EAP where they off 1-3 sessions entirely for each person in your family. They have a person with no qualifications to determine denial of claims. They don't follow the clinical research to determine approval or denial of claims. They will only cover seeing a psychiatrist to prescribe each member of your family medicine. There response is "that diagnosis should be treated by medication only." So, if you are a company deciding if you want to use them please reconsider using them for your employees for mental health coverage.”
“Terrible. Do not return calls. If you struggle with any mental health issues, they are not helpful.”
“The people who answer the phones are amazing. There always so polite and helpful.”
