“My daughter was diagnosed level 2 autistic by Dr Watt in January 2024. He was a very knowledgeable doctor that I thought cared for his patients and gave us steps for next actions and wanted to have a follow up visit a year later to be sure he diagnosed correctly. A little over a year later we are back in the office where it is confirmed he had made the correct diagnosis and then gave us information on intensive behavioral health services specifically ABA therapy that he thought would benefit my child in speech development for a place called silver lining in johnstown and to let the staff know when i talked to them, he was referring her there. After 3 months of calling I had given up because no one calls back in that time period and to this day. I called other places around cambria county and have been met with the exact same situation ... no calls back. I finally found a place who will take my daughter but in order to get her on their waitlist, they need a script for ABA therapy. Perfect we are getting ahead here I thought.... I take a look at what Dr Watt gave me from our last visit that will not work as a script to give to the place my daughter is to be seen. ok no problem, i will call and get the script since he suggested it. upon calling the dr office, no such script exists. okay, can i have dr watt write one .. sure let me put you through to his voicemail. great no problem! i leave my message asking for what I needed with no call back. i call back a few more times, no answer by reception staff. my husband takes a turn and is met with we have to email dr watt for that request and we will get back to you because our systems are down. finally almost 3 weeks later at this point, we hear from the staff that says Dr watt will need to see your daughter for a re evaluation in order to write a script for ABA therapy and he has a waitlist so we will have to call you back when something opens up. is this an actual joke? it hasn't even been a year since we have been seen, where he suggested to have this therapy and now when we have the first opportunity to be at a place getting help for my daughter, we have to go back on a waitlist for our doctor to write something he suggested in the first place... please do better.. looking for a new place to take my children at this point where I am not going to be met with more problems than I am already facing by having a level 2 autistic child”

“regard to the therapists and office staff, actually literally everything, I would give 5 stars. I couldn't be happier and I've gone to a lot of therapists in various states. This team is well worthy of 5. On the other hand, ease of scheduling appointments should be rated 1 star. Next month's appts can onlybe made in current month; they fill up fast. If you don't schedule within 1st 2 weeks, you won't get any for the next month, i.e. there are no recurring appts.”

“Schedule as far ahead as you can (see addendum comment, 2nd pp); several doctors are in high demand. Several groups are available as well as one-on-one care. Communication is a priority for docs; you will feel a part of your or your child's care. IME this practice advocates for the patient at every turn. Front office has gone downhill; it's a rotating group, some of whom are terrific and some of whom have no idea what they're doing. The new thing happening to me (and to others complaining in the waiting room) is that you make appointments a month or more ahead which are magically canceled and immediately snapped up by someone else. Make sure you confirm appointments before driving out with your child.”
