“I started seeing psychiatrist Sithandiwe Mamutse in 2024. I have seen her regularly up until now, February 2026 as she just called my cell after business hours and was so beyond unprofessional and disrespectful. I have never been spoken to like that from a health care professional LET ALONE a MENTAL HEALTH professional. I had requested a medication refill that I have been taking for a very long time. None of my medications have changed. I got a call from another person earlier in the day wanting to schedule me an appt to get the refill. I told her that my medications haven’t changed and I was unsure why I would need another appt after seeing her in December. The lady stated it may have been an oversight and that she would speak to Dr Mamutse. I then got a call at 5:30p and without even being asked “how are you” she said “so why do you think you can get medications without an appt” I was so taken back, my jaw in the floor. I told her that I wasn’t sure why another appt would be necessary to get a refill on this medication. I work in therapy and she then said “you don’t see your clients?” And continued raising her tone. As I tried to talk to her she kept cutting me off with a stern harsh tone and said I needed these medications if I feel (diagnosis) and (diagnosis) and that no other doctor will give me them. I responded saying I’m not sure if I need the medications but that since she had told me I needed them I’ve been taking them. She said she wouldn’t prescribe them if I wasn’t feeling symptoms of my diagnosis. I told her I was unsure how she was able to understand the magnitude of my symptoms related to said diagnosis because she only ever spent 30 mins staring at a screen while asking me mostly rate yourself 1-5 questions and a few yes/no questions. I even said that when I told her my grandpa died she responded “it’s bee okay it’ll pass with time” and kept moving with her questions. She then said that I was “manipulating” her (her word choice not mine) and said “I’ll tell you want you go talk to your primary care doctor and see if she can get you these medications because you’re taking (# of meds). I then said “will do, goodbye” and hung up. Just 2 weeks prior to this I called to see if I could get a different psychiatrist stating that I felt like she never really talked to me about how I was really doing and kept asking ME if I needed to increase my dosages (I would tell her I don’t know if she thinks I need it and she would often just increase them). I don’t think I should be the one making those decisions, isn’t that the whole point of your degree and why I’m spending my time and money to be here? For the psychiatrist to manage the medication?. I felt like she wasn’t compassionate especially how she’s responded to my emotions and thoughts. They tried to schedule me with the only other prions that was available but I held off on scheduling it and tried to call other places since I would have to take off work to be at the appt: however I just started a new job and don’t have the time off yet. Overall completely appalled. I cannot believe Dr, Sithandiwe Mamutse had the audacity to speak to her patients with at tone of voice and word choice. While I understand doctors need to see their patients within certain time frames to continue providing medication, this is NOT how it should’ve been said. Moreover when your patient tells you how they are feeling, I would recommend learning to at least FAKE empathy and compassion. And if your patient expresses concerns with how they feel your sessions are going, listen instead of repeatedly cutting them off, calling them names, and being condescending and honestly just gaslighting. I have never experienced anything even close to this. I am beside myself with this individual and will not be continuing services now, or ever, and the same goes for my family. If only I could've gotten all the money I’ve spent on her services back, my goodness!”

“My appointments have been cancelled one after the other, delaying my care by literal months. It's rude at best and dangerous at worst. Clients are not getting their hair cut. They are trying to maintain their health. Irresponsible and disappointing”

“Parents BEWARE! I called billing because they put the wrong information on our invoice than what I had filled out on the paperwork. When the man found out we had 2 household (1 which holds the insurance and needs to be reflected on the invoice) he said no I should just put the invoice in the mail myself, amongest other things he then referred to our child as a tennis ball going back and forth. I asked to speak with a manager because of the rude behavior. After being on hold the man then said the manager was unavailable and had no voicemail. He took my information, no call back after several days. It was bad enough to find out the Physician there would not help our child unless she could medicate them, but the callous, nasty attitude from billing was atrocious. Manger called back a week later and explained they did what they did because in a divorced situation the non residential parent never pays when they send them the bill, even if they are the paying/insurance party, so there is a policy they follow. He could not provide documentation on this policy and said I should have signed off on it anyway?. Needless to say his department's believes if you are divorced, even civil, 1 parent is a deadbeat and irresponsible. Luckily we both received the invoice, which the manager lied and said he did let one go to the other party, and together BOTH of us we're able to get it paid. PARENTS DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!”

“the physiatrist dr Lyn and his messed up team refused to give my son his medicine because him and his team were upset that we moved out of state and needed his refills till we found another provider. My son has been in and out of mental institutions we finally found a medicine regime that worked for him he was doing amazing we moved out of state and he has been without medicine and going off the hinges again because this practice does not care about patients. When moving there was refills on all his medication they were sent to the pharmacy but we had no insurance I got the insurance straightened out and the dr refuses to call in the refills again without an appointment. They want me to drive hours away just to have an appointment for medicine that was already an approved refill. They are upset we are trying to get his last refills so he has enough to see another provider. They don’t care about the well beings of their patients. Don’t take your kids here if they are on medicine and be careful with the therapist unless you want your kid to think it’s ok to cuss we stopped therapy services and switched quick but liked dr Lyn until he neglected my child.”
