How likely are you to recommend Beckman Center for Mental Health Services?
What patients say on Google
“This place only survives because of community need. Management is terrible across the board, communication is terrible across the board. People who come here seeking help just ended up dying because a lack of any real attention or because of incredibly long wait periods. They rotate front desk staff every month it feels like to the point there's barely 1 person there most of the time to man both adult and peds sections. It's sad this is our main mental health location outside of a inpatient stay at the hospital in Greenwood. If you can afford it, only come here as a last resort. They're not here to help you, they're here to push you in and out of the door like you were are a customer at a grocery store. Your life doesn't matter to them, only the money they get from staying open does. Nearly impossible to even get a worth while front desk phone call handled. Scheduling is a nightmare.”
“Ms. Cynthia has been incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout my father’s therapy (Julio Plasencia). She creates a comfortable and supportive environment, and her dedication truly makes a difference. As a family, we are very grateful for the care and understanding she provides. We truly appreciate her compassion and highly recommend her services.”
“Their doctor quit and they did not tell me. They have messed up my medication schedule. They should be ashamed of themselves for not following up, for not caring, and for making me be an advocate for my own health. I am disgusted with their lack of resources and their apathy to what their patients experience. Small towns truly do not have the resources they need. But that is no excuse.”
“If I could give this place zero stars I would. The support staff is useless, rude, and don’t care about anything or anyone. I went three separate times. They canceled two appointments the same day and didn’t notify me. The third time the scheduler gave me an appointment but did not put it in the system. I gave up and had to go off my medications for months until I could get insurance and see an ACTUAL medical practice. Stay away from these people. Whatever is wrong they will make worse through gross incompetence and negligence.”
