“I’ve had a very well rounded experience with Beautiful Minds. I watched my little brother go here when he was younger and his therapist Sarah was amazing, it truly helped him with the anxiety he faced. It was because of that experience that my girlfriend and I attended a form of premarital counseling here. When I called I gave them my insurance card and was told it would be 25$. After two visits a week a part I was called and told my next visit would increase to 75$ per visit. Then before my 3rd appointment I was told my last two visits that I already paid 25$ towards got kicked back from insurance and now I owe them 100$. Now regardless of who is at fault as I can be sympathetic of them having to deal with insurance companies; regardless of that how they conduct themselves and chose to do business is just wrong. Before they told me a price they should have made sure that was the case and if at most absorbed the cost of the difference. I have absolutely no complaints at all with the therapist/ counselors I think they are phenomenal. We truly loved our two sessions, but unknowingly putting someone in medical debt is not okay. I for one could afford the 100$ hit but I be wiling to bet other members in the community might not be able do so.”
