What patients say on Google

“I am incredibly grateful for Amanda Chavez at Beaufort Memorial Sea Island Psychiatry. During a very overwhelming time trying to find the right provider, Amanda went above and beyond with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. After having to leave a primary care provider I truly valued because of insurance changes, I found myself navigating a difficult and frustrating path trying to find the right medical support. I had challenging experiences elsewhere and was feeling discouraged, overwhelmed, and exhausted from trying to find the care I needed. Amanda took the time to truly listen. She understood my situation, helped connect me with a provider who was the right fit for my needs, and made the process feel manageable again. Her compassion, patience, and willingness to help made such a meaningful difference. She not only helped schedule my first appointment, but she also followed through and called me back to book my appointment with Beaufort Memorial Sea Island Psychiatry. In moments when patients feel lost in the healthcare maze, having someone like Amanda makes all the difference. Her dedication to helping people is a beautiful reminder that there are still professionals who genuinely care and go above and beyond for their patients. I am deeply thankful for her support, and Beaufort Memorial is blessed to have someone like Amanda on their team.”

“NP Hallie Riddle is amazing. I finally found the right doctor after a long battle with a previous out of town office. She takes her time, listens and understands, and is patient. She listened to my needs and struggles, which were pretty long. She did not make me feel rushed and she did not rush to judgment. This is the first time I had to cut an appointment short because I had to get back to work because she wanted to be involved and thorough. I know it can take awhile to get an initial appointment because Beaufort is growing, but if you are able to wait, it is worth the wait. Thank you NP Riddle, you have changed my life. I am so grateful!”

“I just had my doctors appointment at Sea Island psychiatry and everybody was so nice and caring. It was such a positive experience and atmosphere. The Front Desk lady was very kind and considerate as well as the nurse who told me that if I needed anything to just call her. Just knowing that I can reach out whenever I have an emergency helps my anxiety so much, so I really appreciated that. Dr. Walmer was terrific and a very good psychiatrist and I would recommend him to anybody. You can really tell that he cares about his patients. Thank you, Sea Island psychiatry!”

“Under staffed and over booked. Over three months to get an appointment. On top of that, they wouldn't stop complaining that they only except referrals and I didn't have one. I have never reached out to them or anyone in that office. They contacted me, but it was my fault and problem. It doesn't matter if you tell them Bluffton and Okatie due to restrictions, Beaufort will inform you that they have scheduled you for this day, and this time, 3 Months from now, and you have to show up in person. Don't worry, we added you to the cancellation list. Don't worry about me because the mental health community seems to believe that you can put your mental disorders on hold. Im just patient reaching, asking, and begging for help everywhere for over 2 months.”
