How likely are you to recommend Beacon Mental Health?
What patients say on Google
“I was referred here by my GP. No one ever answers the phone or calls back. Then I saw the patient reviews. I would listen if I were you. I also went on Indeed to read employees reviews. They are somehow worse. They all sound stressed out working for this company and stress that no one cares. How is this toxic corporate environment conducive to helping your patients? And this is exhibit A for whats wrong with health care in this country. The poor get to try and navigate their health care using places like this. Thank you psychiatrists that only care about buying a summer home instead of taking care of a few medicaid patients that need mental help. Missouri sucks so hard.”
“My grandson is a new patient at beacon. I'm documenting every step of the way. He's being charged over $300 for his visit. So far I'm not happy. Abusing mental patients is a crime.”
“This place is a joke, they are down right predatory. I disclosed emotional abuse, and they failed to report the abuse, even allowing the suspected abuser to move in with me. When I left a voicemail message regarding mistreatment from Dr. Allison and one of the women at the front desk, Dr. Allison called me back and cussed me out; people wonder why men fail to report abuse. Dr. Allison lacks empathy for anyone in disstress, she doesn't care about your mental health, and only wants to force medication on you so she can send you on your way; not to mention she's extremely dissmissive, and can be very rude and dissrespectful. Dr. Allison even went as far as trying to silence my concerns surrounding emotional abuse by trying to label me with schizophrenia. This place is pure evil, DO NOT GO HERE!!”
“Dr.Mahmood never prescribes me anything even after several suicide attempts and hospitalizations for mental health, hes canceled several appointments last minute day of. Ive been calling and calling trying to get a different psychiatrist but i always get sent to voicemail and dont get called back, this place doesn't care about you or your mental health and if you have other options for psychiatry i highly recommend you go elsewhere for mental health services.”
