“The front desk is unfriendly, which is not the impression you want the second you walk in the door. Those who interview and assess the patient at first consultation are quite nice and seem to want to do their job efficiently. While the doctors and counselors are nice, I felt my mother's care was treated as just another body you administer drugs to for her depression and anxiety and send her on her way. I explained the underlying issues that needed to be addressed. They allowed her to speak and simply nodded their heads in acknowledgment as if they've heard it all before. I don't feel they looked at her needs as an individual or encouraged a drug-free way of coping. My mother stopped going after a couple sessions of her own accord. After months of mom not keeping appointments, I received a call today that I missed. I called back five minutes later and have been on hold for 46 minutes. In the last 20 minutes I have received an intermittent message from the automated attendant telling me I am next in line and my call will be answered by the next available representative. I called the doctors direct phone number and it forwarded to the general line. I do not like to leave bad reviews, but I just can't recommend this facility as a whole. I'm about to hang up the phone now for this is ridiculous. Not a single person in a place of many who can pick up a phone?”

“I’ve never really had problems with the facility. I have been a patient since 2006. They have always been good to me. My counselor is kind and understanding. I don’t much care for my Dr and don’t care much for the medication she has me on and only continues to up the dosage. I have taken just about everything else out there.”

“Beacon Health is an amazing facility. The staff are friendly, efficient, and genuinely care about their patients. I will always recommend Beacon Health to everybody. The staff also offers nightly check-up calls, and they do it; it's a wonderful service. What a great experience. Intake will take roughly 2 hours, but the time did not bother me since the staff made me feel as though I were at home. Thank you all. I look forward to continuing services with you. “I see a lot of bad reviews but I went in today for a walk in assessment. Not only was the front desk kind and clear on what I needed to complete but every single person I dealt with in a 2 hour period was friendly and made me feel comfortable talking. The person who did my actual assessment also looked up other doctors who could help with a problem they don't specialize in, which was extremely helpful and no other place has done that for me. They were extremely busy and got me through the process with ease and explained the next steps so I'm prepared for what comes next. I will recommend them to anyone in need of a service, especially that helps those who don't always have access to mental health care due to financial restrictions.”
