“I’m really fed up with these portals. They send us our labs and test results before the doctor has even seen them. No one calls anymore to explain anything and you can leave as many messages as you want, but still no one ever calls to explain anything. The portals are just putting more and more of the work on the patient. What has happened to care, compassion and just good old consideration for the patient. We pay them for a service and get very little in return. We are ask the same questions when we get there as we have already answered thru our portal. Doctors aren’t even looking at our portals to see what’s been going on. I got my test results Tuesday on the portal and have been trying to get in touch with someone to explain things to me. I did talk to a nurse but she knew nothing, didn’t even know what I was talking about when I ask if the bravo camera could be causing my symptoms. She actually ask camera, what camera? I was floored. Our health care system is really going down hill more and more every year. I’m very disappointed to the point I’m not seeing the need to even go to the doctor anymore.”
