“I must say that BBH has saved my life. I have been here for over a year now and I have not even thought about looking back. Using fentanyl and various pills, getting clean was a painful and scary thing to do. I did attempt getting clean more than once. But it was only once I came here and also did my part in this process, that I had success. I'm so proud of myself, my mamas proud of me and most of all my kids are proud of me and so beyond happy to have their mama back. So now I'm working on me mentally and physically, I'm building relationships back up from the ground. And I do feel I owe so much of my success to BBH and their WONDERFUL TEAM OF STAFF!! These people are so patient and caring and just all around amazing. Everyone has their own outlooks on stuff, but I honestly don't see how someone could bad mouth BBH or their staff, UNLESS.....those people attended this program when they were not ready to get off of drugs. Or some of those people just didn't see this program as the right fit for them. Sometimes that's just how it works. But I say to those people ....NEVER EVER GIVE UP, PLEASE KEEP SEARCHING AND PUSHING THRU BECAUSE YOUR TIME IS COMING, YOU JUST HAVE TO REALLY WANT IT!!!”
“I'm posting from my mom's account. This is my second review of BBH, the methadone clinic. So I've now been there for a year and a half, and that's how much clean time I have. This place has been amazing to me. From the security guards to Krystal and Q at the front desk, to the nurses and counselors (Miss Juarez, awesome woman) and home health nurse (Miss Yolanda, my girl), and beyond!! I've received top tier care here, I even see my primary care physician here in the same building. It's just been an amazing experience for me. I still have a lot of work to do in my life but it all started here. I understand that everyone is different and everything ain't for everybody, so yes this program may not work for everyone that goes there, but my personal experience has been amazing!! I've been so blessed!! I got to celebrate my 37th bday.... with my mama and boy did she make it special!!! Thanks so much to Baltimore Behavioral Health and all it's staff!!! Thanks a million forreal!!”
“I'd like to remain as anonymous as possible in writing this, as the person who went here is still there. Very unorganized and unprofessional. Told 'SWIM' that he was not an addict and denied him suboxone after he was on maintenance and was transferred from another city program. Told him that he needed to be dirty in order to be medicated. What kind of place encourages someone to get high? The house managers are people who have been there for 1-2 months. Very disrespectful and should not be given any authority. There are drugs everywhere and they do not drug test regularly. Inconsistent and rude staff....I would never recommended this place for anyone unless it's a last resort. I rarely write reviews, and sometimes I read these on google and think...'This person just had a bad experience, it's probably not that bad...' This place is awful. I don't have high standards either, I was appalled with the things I've seen and heard.”
“I loved it there. 413 Gilmore was a great house I did a lot of my recovery there. I miss the old place back when HRC was there and the big kitchen. It was a really cool place to be when I needed a place to be. Yes there are drugs there and yes people sell their meds there but there were also some good people there who wanted to help you.”
