I am disappointed by the treatment I received from this business when I followed their intake process closely. Balance Point Wellness markets itself as a sanctuary of care, but my experience felt more like an exercise in gaslighting than therapy. After completing my intake appointment, I logged in well within the alloted 15 minute window for my very first session and waited patiently on the Zoom call—alone. My therapist, Elizabeth Norris, never showed. I double checked the link and the Wi-Fi connection and even called the corporate number. Without a way to contact Elizabeth directly I had to wait a day for her to reach out and when she did she confidently asserted that I was the one who failed to attend our session, a fascinating claim given that I was very much present. Things deteriorated from there with impressive speed. Elizabeth Norris then went several business days without responding to my messages about rescheduling, dodged my questions about our first session mishap and then discharged me as a patient entirely—without a word of warning. Please do not look for health or wellness with this company. They do not deserve your time, your hard earned money, or your vulnerability.”
