“If it wasn’t for the fact that my daughter has been seeing the same therapist for over a year and she likes him, I would’ve left this practice over two months ago. My daughter lost her insurance and in the process of waiting for her to get new insurance under my insurance company, they refused to see her. How can you in good conscience refuse to see someone for mental health therapy. She even offered to self-pay , but wouldn’t see her until she paid upfront. Then after a month of her missing her mental health therapy. The insurance was taken care of. So she saw her therapist last week no problem. Then today they canceled her session because “there’s a hold on her account” and please call billing. But don’t let us know until an hour before she supposed to have her therapy and billing is closed! This company is , shameful”

“Let me start by saying the care I received from my therapist Kia McKinney was absolutely amazing. She is a very genuine and caring person. Once she left I felt so saddened because I am a person who struggles with change especially when I’ve built a strong connection with someone. Kia would listen to my concerns and never made me feel like a burden. Well Friday had a my first session with a new person Ms.nicholson and I felt a huge disconnect and why I have such a hard time opening up to people I left the appointment feeling worse than when it started. There was no compassion or empathy for me. Not to mention I have been seeing a psychiatrist here named Wendy who totally disregarded my symptoms and gave me a medication I expressed made me suicidal and really sick previously. Due to these things I have decided balance point doesn’t have my best interest at heart so I have decided to follow my heart and requested to be discharged from this place. I pray Ms.Nicholson and Ms.strong learn some compassion for their patients and not make them feel like their diagnoses are something to be ashamed of.”
