What patients say on Google
“My husband went to this facility trying to get help and detox. We were there for almost 2 hours only for them to tell him they couldn’t take him because his drug screen was negative. Not sure how that was considering he told them he had used yesterday and was starting to go through withdrawals. He pretty much was pleading with them for help and they refused to help an addict detox over what I assume was a faulty drug test. It showed “faint” lines which they considered a negative result. The girls at the front desk were more worried about gossiping and playing with someone’s baby than do their job.”
“This place is awful and please don’t ever send yourself or your loved ones here. It’s a prison. They drug you out so bad to the point you can’t even stand. Night shift is so unbelievably rude. They do not care about you, the longer you are in there the more money they get and that’s all you are to them, a paycheck. This brought my loved one so much more down than he was coming in and completely changed his view on ever asking for help again. He voluntarily checked himself in and once he realized how bad the place was they refused to let him leave because it was “up to the provider”. I will make aware to anyone I know to NEVER come here. I’m utterly disgusted and genuinely believe this place and any like it should be shut down. Someone coming in asking for help should not be treated like a prisoner but be treated with love and care and made to feel welcome. But unfortunately these people don’t care about you. And please read papers before you sign them, it may look good on the outside but that’s there goal.”
“This place is amazing and is always there to take in the broken and give help to those in need. I’ve never been turned around or mistreated. If you need saving like I have and can’t find anywhere else Avita will help you and they will treat you good.”
“We came here for my brother. My family and I waited over 6 hours for my brother to be seen. We came in at 3:23pm and left around 9:58pm. Sally, at the front desk was so nice and helpful, but there had to be major lack of communication and work ethic in the back from the other employees for this to happen. Because there were only 2 patients before my brother. So why wait over 6 hours? We are highly dissatisfied and disappointed with the intake process of patients here. Be prepared to wait hours due to employees work ethic.”
