How likely are you to recommend Avant Interventional Psychiatry Austell?
“Let me start by saying that Arisma is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. She is always calm, patient, and extremely professional, even when patients are frustrated. She will stay on the phone with you until the issue is resolved. She is truly top tier, and I hope she is on track for upper management because she deserves the recognition. I want to be clear that my concern is not about the clinicians or doctors. They have always been very professional, and the quality of care they provide is what has kept me with this practice and will continue to do so. My concern is with the administrative processes and the lack of communication when the processes change. In January, I learned only after requesting a refill, that the prescription refill process was changed from quarterly refills managed by the office, patients being required to call monthly for refills. I was only made aware of this change when I contacted my pharmacy and was told they did not have a prescription sent in for me. I reached out to the office and addressed the disruption and lack of notice with management, and the immediate issue was resolved to my satisfaction. Now, in August 2026, the office has apparently returned to quarterly appointments, but again without notifying patients. I was told today that I would have to make an appointment for a prescription that had already been addressed during my last appointment. Also, when I called for my July prescription, I was not informed of the future change of process beginning this month. There was no email, letter, phone call, or patient portal message. Because of this unexpected change, my August prescription, which was already documented, may now require another appointment. This will potentially disrupt not only my medication schedule, but also my clinician appointment allocation via my insurance. At this time, I am waiting to hear from a clinician today so my prescription can hopefully be resolved, and I can continue with my already scheduled September appointment. I am also waiting for upper management to contact me and hopefully explain the process by which patients are supposed to be notified of process changes for the practice. We should not have learn about changes affecting our care only when we call the office.”
“I had an excellent experience with Avant Psychiatry and can’t recommend them highly enough. Dr. Justin stands out for his genuine, compassionate approach to patient care. He takes the time to truly listen, asks thoughtful questions, and makes you feel heard and understood rather than rushed. His ability to explain things clearly and involve you in your treatment plan makes a huge difference in building trust and confidence. The professionalism of the entire staff and management team is equally impressive. From scheduling appointments to check-in and follow-up, everything runs smoothly and efficiently. The team is courteous, responsive, and clearly committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Most importantly, the quality of care is outstanding. I felt that my concerns were taken seriously, and the treatment approach was both thoughtful and effective. It’s clear that Avant Psychiatry prioritizes patient well-being at every level. Overall, a top-tier experience and a practice I would confidently recommend to others seeking psychiatric care.”
“Everything was great, the staff was very nice, meeting was quick. I worked with an apprentice, Daniel, who shadowing under the main doctor and he was amazing. Thank you guys for your help in getting me my Military clearance. You’re doing a great job”
“I recently visited this establishment with my family member. This was my first time having to seek such services and I was overall anxious about the process. I can say that from the beginning everything was organized. We were able to complete the paperwork online which made check-in seamless. When I walked in there were a lot of people in the lobby which initially made me think the wait would be long but we were seen right away. We were able to speak to Dr. Justin and had a pleasant experience. You can tell that he cares about his patients. I was apprehensive about my family starting medication and he respected our decision. We signed up for therapy and I look forward to see what progress we make.”
