How likely are you to recommend Austin Family Mental Health?
“To start, my provider, Tristan Hartman, is super great and easy to work with. Absolutely zero complaints about him. This clinic, however, is easily one of the worst medical clinics I've ever dealt with. They will not schedule you an appointment unless you pay them upfront. They do not communicate any issues with you. They will charge you fees to fill out any additional paperwork you might need. Everyone I've ever spoken to over the phone or at the desk is incredibly rude, they act as if you're causing them trouble just by being there. They're incredibly disappointing to deal with, and if you call them out on it, they will tell you to take your business elsewhere. So hopefully some of you will read this and do that from the start.”
“If I could give ZERO stars, I would. AVOID. This outfit seems like a scam and wondered that at the very beginning when they wanted $100 just to schedule. My daughter met with Katie Raymond virtually as we needed her seen quickly to get a diagnosis and meds, if needed, before heading back to college. Katie told my daughter she'd call in a med. I immediately messaged with a question about said med. Was told she'd get back to me. She didn't. My daughter called and was told the same. She didn't. She left a message. No response. I texted again 10 days later. No response. She called again. No response and so on. When I did reach them today, the reasoning given why they never responded was they were working from home that day! What about all of the other days? When I called today to get some answers and was told that no medication was slated to be called in and if we wanted to discuss it, we needed to set up another appointment. We are now almost a month past when I wanted new medication for my daughter and now they want another appointment to discuss the medication that was already discussed a month ago??? I instead demanded a refund of my $100, less my copay, and now we're on to another psychiatric office that actually will do their job. I've never been this angry with a doctor and their office before. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.”
“I appreciated my provider, Cornelius Chopin, Jr., he listened and picked up on things that are hopefully going to lead me to the correct path in my wellness journey. There was a little mix up at the front desk with my paperwork getting started, but nothing that was not quickly fixed. Pleasant atmosphere and I would recommend.”
“Dr Holcomb is an amazing human being. He's been so kind and insightful. The entire staff is helpful, friendly and nice. I suffer from severe anxiety, childhood trauma and depression. I've been in some kind of therapy all of my life and I've never felt it that helpful ,until I met this Dr. I attend group therapy as well. It has been really life changing for me and my family. Cannot give them enough love. If you need help, this is a great place to find it.”
