What patients say on Google

“Carrie Hedinger’s first comment on her profile is about deconstructing families, and I feel that is pretty telling and potentially reflects deep rooted concerns. For anyone considering Carrie Hedinger as a therapist, I strongly encourage doing extensive research and asking direct questions about therapeutic methods, neutrality, family involvement, and how conflicts are handled. In our experience, we found the care to be deeply concerning. We felt our teen was influenced in ways that fostered division rather than healing, our parental concerns were dismissed, and the overall process appeared shaped by bias instead of sound, balanced clinical judgment. Rather than helping adequately support a teen, the experience caused significant confusion, distress, and lasting harm to family relationships. Because of what we experienced, we are pursuing formal complaints and believe other families should proceed with extreme caution when deciding whether this provider is an appropriate fit.”
Janelle Moye
“I've been working with Sarah now for about 3 years, maybe a little bit longer. It has been such a joy working with her! I never feel judged or shamed or bad in any way when we meet. I'm grateful for her patience, understanding, and kindness. ATXMH is wonderful!”
Ashley Brown
“As a fellow clinician, I have known Sarah and Damien for over a decade and have worked directly with Sarah for several of those years. I have recommended and would continue to recommend their practice wholeheartedly, and without hesitation, both to clients and to friends and family. They are not only skilled clinicians, but they operate their practice with integrity and transparency.”
Sara Dilworth
“I am a child advocate whose client worked briefly with Carrie Hedinger and I’m here to share an experience and warning: If you want to have a false report filed against your family filled with elaborate fairy tales, please be sure to hire Carrie Hedinger.”
