“I’m flabbergasted still I was told by a doctor because I was black. I was an educated and I could not have that much. Education was ridiculous. Mind you I was picked up on a lie from the state. I think that is Really cruel that in the state of North Carolina if somebody lies on you, you can sit in there for almost 10 days and instead of the doctors listening to you they assume tell you what you are. That’s not how that works. I reported them to the state Because this is not fair and it’s not OK when I was there my first day there I had long black hair in blood on my bed Dr. Lynchburg and his social worker if that was her name politely told me because of my skin color I could not be educated or run any business. It’s ridiculous. I wonder how many other kids go through this I watched a young man get dragged on his face through the facility. Is that when the staff is breaking HIPAA laws and I can tell you about other people’s business Miss Geraldine the nurse told one lady if you’re gonna pass out walk to the nurse station This is beyond sad and it has to be fixed and when you called back in, they’ll say oh we are sorry for this inconvenience. Old matter fact she politely told me on recording. Oh, I wrote a letter to your house. I’m sorry no you don’t have to worry about writing a letter because when I’m done, everyone’s gonna hear the truth you will respect somebody the next time they come to your facility you will listen to them because no one’s higher than the next”

“I didn’t even make it there. The phone call alone told me everything I needed to know about this place. First of all I’m fighting for my life. It’s take courage to call a complete stranger and ask for help. First time calling ever and this lady told me she spoke to me earlier and I was supposed to come this morning. I told her she did not speak to me because that was my first time calling. She told me to call back in a half hour. I told her the person who gave me that number (which again this is the first time I ever called either number) told me that I would need to be there in 1 hour or wait until Monday. This lady told me I was the person she spoke to earlier so I’m a liar because lady I never called this 304 number. And she had an attitude I just hung up!! I refuse to be under the care of these folks. So sad and heartbreaking!!!”

“if i could give negative stars i would, lady tried to prescribe me bipolar medication for panic attacks and autism and treated me very rudely while i was crying in her face for help. do not bother coming here, find a psychiatrist online they help you faster, sometimes sameday while also treating you like a person. unlike this place. the aura in there is disgustingly horrible. and maybe like 1 of the people there act like they care about you.”

“I can't praise this facility enough. They kept my child safe, they truly helped him. Lots of therapy, amazing staff, and very communicative. Very structured. When your family is struggling, it's nice to have people like the ones here to care for your children. Thank you, BHC.”
