What patients say on Google

“This is the third or fourth text or call I’ve received about someone else’s records. I don’t care about anyone’s mental health. Secondly, you have to be mentally ill to keep putting someone else’s number in these records when people out here need real mental health treatment. This is not social media; this is real life. I’ve already called before and told you to take my number out. And if I come down there, it’s going to be a problem.”

“I’m absolutely devastated and disgusted by the unprofessionalism I’ve experienced here. I made an appointment on June 25, 2025, to see Dr. Lunceford on July 23, 2025. He was my first psychiatrist when I was 30, and after years of trying to find him again—after he left Fulton County and joined that Married to Medicine show—I was excited to finally reconnect and continue treatment with someone who truly helped me. Unfortunately, this office has completely dropped the ball in every way imaginable. First, you can’t book online, so I had to call and schedule the appointment manually and gave them my insurance at that time. Everything was supposedly set. Then on July 22, I received a random voicemail and text saying my appointment was canceled. No real explanation. I immediately called back—after waiting weeks—only to be told by one staff member that it was due to my insurance. That made no sense because I provided all of that on 6/25. When I pushed back, he transferred me to someone else who said insurance wasn’t the issue—the doctor had an emergency and had to reschedule everyone. So I rescheduled for Thursday, July 24 at 4:40pm. She confirmed my insurance was on file and ended the call. The day of the appointment, I logged into the telehealth link 5 minutes early to avoid any issues. I sat there for 15 minutes… no doctor, no call, no text, no email. I was left sitting there in tears. Already dealing with mental health struggles, this added another layer of pain and frustration. No one followed up Friday. No one followed up Monday. So on Tuesday, I called again. The same guy once again blamed insurance and claimed that’s why the doctor didn’t show up. Are you serious?! He transferred me to another lady, who claimed they had no contact info on file—yet I received countless texts and emails from their system. She hung up on me. I called back and got someone else—this time I recorded the call. She admitted the last woman lied, that my email and number were clearly in the system, and said the doctor marked me as a no-show at 7pm. My appointment was at 4:40pm. She said he was running late and should’ve called, but didn’t. No one took accountability. No apology. Just a careless “I don’t know what happened.” To make it worse, two weeks before the appointment, Fulton County Department of Mental Health sent over my records to this office. Two weeks—and no one even looked at them. No one called, no follow-up, no acknowledgment of my case or history. I asked where my records were and was told, “I’m not even sure where they are.” So for two whole weeks, no one cared about or reviewed the medical history of a patient they hadn’t seen in over a decade. I re-verified my insurance info yet again, and now I have to hope this place can figure itself out. But honestly, I’m not sure if this man’s head is too caught up in TV fame to prioritize real patients. To treat someone—a mental health patient—like this is beyond unacceptable. I’m posting the recorded call on YouTube because people need to know what’s happening here. Do better.”

“I told a doctor there, Ms. Natoya Queenbourrows, a few days ago that my typical day is from 4pm until 8am. I normally will become very sleepy around 8:30am from because of 16 hours straight of nonstop activity. I end up getting only about 6 hours of sleep in a day. She told me that I must have narcolepsy, and that I should see a neurologist; there's something wrong with becoming sleepy after 16hrs of nonstop activity. That's the kind of dumb-as-a-rock, no-common-sense speech that makes me think that she needs the neurologist. I very highly discourage having anything to do with this place.”
