How likely are you to recommend Associates In Mental Health SC?
“I became a patient of Dr Singh on February 4 2026 and he diagnosed me with ADHD and prescribed medication. Flash forward to my next appt(March 2nd) and 2 of my 3 children had been sick with Influenza B for days prior and by this point my husband was also sick with it. They had fevers for 5-6 days upwards of 102 degrees so me being everyone’s main caregiver having adhd lost track of the days and time and missed that appointment. I immediately called the next day to reschedule. Flash forward to the day I rescheduled to, Monday(March 9), and my 3rd child my 3 year old son had contracted influenza B over the weekend so I called Monday morning as soon as I could to reschedule my appointment I had just made on Friday. I told them on the phone I would call back to reschedule when he got better as I didn’t want to make another appointment and not be able to make it if he was still sick. Well today I called back to reschedule my appointment and was told I have been terminated as a patient for too many no call no shows and too many cancellations. Why they didn’t inform me on the phone yesterday if I cancelled the appointment that I would be terminated as a patient is wild. I maybe would have found a way to get there one way or another if I knew that information. They ended up telling me, who they diagnosed with adhd that I signed those terms in my contract when I became a patient. Be so for real like people with mental illness are very well known to be forgetful. You’re a mental health institution and you’re not even going to give any grace to the people you act like you care soooo much about helping when they suffer from the symptoms of the diagnosis you gave them. What a joke. The woman who does scheduling, Leah or Lynn, I can’t remember exactly her name but she is rude and shouldn’t work with anyone with mental health conditions as doesn’t have one ounce of empathy within her. Life isn’t black and white. Shit happens. Maybe try to be more understanding of that considering you’re a mental health provider.”
“just now New I had two children who had been coming to see Dr Morissey for two years. She cancelled the last two appointments with my children due to sickness which were rescheduled and then she refused to provide medication to my child without him being seen first BUT she had no available appointments and expected him to go without medication for 4 weeks until his scheduled appointment. There is no excuse for withholding meds from a child that needs it and then not providing a way to be seen. VERY POOR PRACTICE!!! Office staff is very unprofessional. I called 3 times over the course of a week attempting to get a refill for my child’s medication but no one returned my phone call even though they said they would follow up with me. I am pulling both of my children from this office immediately!”
“Dr. Morrissey has been an absolute blessing for our family. From the very beginning, she showed genuine compassion, patience, and understanding while working with our 6-year-old daughter who struggles with OCD. She has an incredible way of making a child feel safe, heard, and supported, while also keeping parents fully informed and involved in the process. Thanks to Dr. Morrissey’s guidance, expertise, and thoughtful approach, we have seen meaningful improvements in our daughter’s confidence and ability to manage her OCD. She takes the time to truly listen, explains things clearly, and tailors care to the individual child rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. We are so grateful for the positive impact Dr. Morrissey has had on our daughter’s life and cannot recommend her highly enough to any family seeking compassionate and effective psychiatric care for their child.”
“I feel like I had to post a review because they’re not many good ones. I’ve been a patient here off and on for over 10 years- the front desk is polite and kind, their cancellation policy is clearly stated, you get a single reminder for your appointments (this is a small practice you shouldn’t expect them to hound you with reminders and it’s also patient responsibility). I saw a new psych Dr (to this practice) this last visit and while he may not be for everyone, he was a great fit for me. Finding psych care is challenging and frustrating because it takes time to find someone you mesh with. I’m sorry for everyone who has had a negative experience.. reading these made me nervous to go here again, but I’m glad I did. I never left for negative reasons, it was always due to life relocation. Understanding that med management vs talk therapy is different and might help when scheduling with providers. I’m overall happy with the care I received here vs other local places. I was able to get in within a reasonable time frame and the hours work very well.”
