She did the hard part for me-I just had to leave contact info and then explain the situationin more detail when I got a callback, so I wasn’t so worried and unsure if what to say. She also forgoes the seemingly easier route of doing video appointments because she knows her patients often self-isolate (I can confirm this), and she wants to get them out of the house and talking to real people because it really does make a big difference in mood (can also confirm this). Providers like her are rare these days, and it’s clear she’s going to help so many people-if even in a small way-and that’s what people like us need-a little push to get out for just a bit, some conversation, compassion, and guidance if not on-the-spot help to start patients in the right direction-toward real growth, understanding, and healing,”
