How likely are you to recommend Aspect Psychiatric Services?
What patients say on Google
“It’s been over a month now that I’ve been trying to get in as a new patient- everytime they send me the intake paperwork and I put in my birthdate - it says invalid and will not let me complete the intake paperwork to get scheduled. Why do such important, life saving work if you’re not going to take this seriously? This is very dangerous to do this to people. Our mental health matters, we are not just paychecks for you. Edit/Update: now waiting another month to get in because the receptionist thinks that a supposed provider preference is the same as NYS law- my best friend goes here and her provider said within 6 months she has to come in person which is fine - but for me I have to come for the first one??? And will have to take the entire day off work to make this drive. The appointment I had held for tomorrow is now rescheduled for a month from now. This place is dangerous and is going to kill someone. We matter. Our care matters. We are people. I shouldn’t be crying this bad from a phone call with a medical provider begging to be seen.”
“I was a patient at aspect for about 1.5 years. I had a kind of miserable experience with them and wouldn’t recommend them to a new patient. Their customer service is awful, they’re rude and often don’t help or say they’ll call you back and don’t. They reschedule people with new psychiatrists a lot and sometimes with out warning. They’re billing department was inconsistent and sometimes under/over billed me or billed me at random points near the beginning. And they never talked about side effects from my medications which was dangerous! Whenever I asked they would downplay them or straight up say there were no side effects. They prescribed me an anti depressant despite my specific disorder and it caused a terrible reaction! Don’t go to them!”
“I can't tell you how many times I called this place to make an appointment with my provider hoping someone would actually answer the phone.I called three times yesterday and nobody answered and I know they're open on Mondays so what gives? And there's no way leave message unless it's for a medication refill which infact they only gave me a month refill when I usually get 90 day prescription. My provider knows that I get a three month supply.Ever since Joy(who was the best practicianer and only reason I stayed as a patient)left, aspect has gone down hill and they don't seem to prioritize their patients concern simply by not answering the phone and making wait forever just to make a appointment. I've never heard of a mental health facility that conducted their business this way and I definitely would not recommend them to anyone I know.”
“So I missed an appointment and they want to charge me a 50 dollar fee which is fine. I was going to pay that in cash at the time of the appointment. They called me and cancelled my appointment because of the fee. I am taking controlled substances that could kill me if I withdraw from them. These people only care about money and not your health at all. I am disgusted by the care that I have received and am switching to another facility. Do not go here!”
