“I scheduled my young adult children with Aspect because they were clients of Allison's before. She was attentive and they were able to engage with her. Allison really cared about both of them. Twice we've been scheduled for half hour appointments when the intake should have been an hour. The first time with my daughter, I get it was a mistake. However, she had just been released from the hospital and needed that appointment for medication. Rescheduling her appointment could have contributed to a poor outcome for her. It just happened again with my son. I specifically asked when I called for the appointment the guy who scheduled my son if my son needed a hour slot and was told no. I asked if he was sure and explained what happened the first time. We arrived at 8:00 and we were told my son couldn't be seen because he needed an hour appointment. I am livid. Waste of my time and gas. More importantly, my kids don't get what they need. So, if we miss an appointment it's a $100.00 fee, but of they make a mistake (more than once), it's an oops, sorry. It's not Allison's fault, but the front office staff should certainly know better. Then I asked to speak to the Director/office manager was told she'd be here at 8:15. It's 8:30, and I'm still waiting. If I didn't like Allison's so much and my son didn't need medication, I'd go somewhere else. My time is just as valuable as the staff and owner of Aspect Counseling.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Aspect Counseling and Psychiatry. They have gone far above and beyond for me during one of the most stressful and confusing times in my life. There was some confusion if my long time psychiatrist (who I've already seen for years) was still in-network with my health insurance or not due to her transferring there last month from another company. Without even asking, the director, Jennifer McCauley, stepped in and completely changed everything. Initially, my employer sponsored health insurance told me my psychiatrist was now out of network due to the clinic transfer, but Jennifer McCauley personally contacted the insurance side, worked through all the confusion for me, and reassured me that I could safely continue my care with Allison Ernest. She even noted in my chart that if a claim was denied, they would not bill me while she got it fixed with insurance. That is the 100% definition of going above and beyond for a patient. Thank you again Jennifer for all your help through this headache! :) There is no way I could have done it without you! ”
