“I had an incredible experience at Arbor Wellness Day, and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I walked through the door, I was impressed by the facility’s serene and welcoming atmosphere. The space is beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment that immediately put me at ease. The therapists are truly exceptional. Each one took the time to listen to my concerns and tailored their approach to fit my individual needs. Over the course of my time here, I noticed significant improvement in my physical and emotional well-being. Their expertise and genuine care made all the difference in my recovery journey. I would also like to give a special shout-out to Roxanne, who was instrumental in helping me with discharge planning. Her guidance and support made the transition much smoother and less stressful, ensuring that I was well-prepared for the next phase of my healing process. Additionally, all the techs were amazing, always attentive, kind, and ready to assist whenever needed. Their professionalism and positive energy created an environment that made me feel supported throughout my time at Arbor Wellness Day. Overall, this facility exceeded my expectations, and I am so grateful for the wonderful team that helped me along the way. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about your well-being, Arbor Wellness Day is the perfect choice.”
“I was in arbor from late May to late June. My experience here was okay. My biggest grievance is that I was under the impression the whole time and well after my visit that I was in network and nobody at any point ever told me I was out of network. I had to call my insurance when I got my bill to figure out why it was $9,000 when they were supposedly in network. They need to be upfront about billing and coverage because I would not have gone here had I known it was out of network because of the cost. The therapists are pretty good and the provider actually listens to you and you have a say in your treatment. Groups are every day from 9am to 4:30 pm and meals are provided. You are expected to stay minimum 30 days or longer if your discharge date would fall on a weekend because they don’t discharge on weekends. They have regular smoke breaks and some nice amenities and it did help stabilize me. You can make phone calls twice a week for 15 minutes each time. That time is scheduled. You get to have an individual therapy session once weekly and they do family sessions too once weekly.”
“I had a decent time here. I was only here for two weeks because of personal reasons but my time here I felt was beneficial and I enjoyed my time here. There are a few complaints though that I wish they could work on especially because it’d make the experience a lot better for others; during the weekends they have different facilitators run the groups and you basically do nothing all weekend. The first weekend I was there we just did random self care like read or journal and talk for an hour straight. The second and last weekend I was there we drew birds and did nothing as well. It seems like they can’t find anyone to work weekends so they have people who don’t really have much experience work the weekends and that’s what goes on. It’s kind of nice to have a chill day for the weekends but at the same time it could be a lot more beneficial if we had actual therapists working on the weekends. Another complaint was there was someone in the facility that was a patient that caused a lot of issues but they did absolutely nothing to resolve any of the issues they were causing. This caused a lot of distress among other patients but it seemed like the staff couldn’t care less. The patient was leaving though during the same week I left so hopefully it’ll resolve a lot of the issues that happened. The facility also had a large ant problem that seemed to be not taken seriously and they were everywhere. Primarily in the theater but also other places within the facility. I did see an exterminator one day but they seemed to have not really done anything to permanently fix the issue. The food is also severely lacking in quality- I would think a place branded like Arbor is as well as expensive as the place is would have better quality food but the food was mediocre at best and was the quality of hospital food.”
