“My experience at Apollo was deeply traumatic and continues to affect my mental and physical health more than three weeks after discharge. I was sent directly from an ICU stay for blood clots and placed on a 72-hour PEC for depression and suicidal ideation. After the 72 hours, I was held an additional seven days without being evaluated by the assistant coroner, who based the decision solely on Apollo’s recommendation. I witnessed this same process occur with multiple patients. During my stay, I was not placed on fall-risk precautions, my blood clot medication was not administered properly, and I did not receive medications for multiple existing medical conditions (migraines, GERD, hormone therapy, sciatic pain, MRSA, etc.). I was abruptly taken off all prior mental health medications without tapering and placed on three new psychiatric medications without any consultation. I never had a patient evaluation with the prescribing physician during my entire stay. This caused immediate withdrawal symptoms, followed by mania, paranoia, hysteria, and psychosis. Since discharge, I’ve experienced memory loss, speech difficulties, mood instability, cognitive impairment, and an inability to return to work or normal daily life for weeks. I have little recollection of events from late November through early December. Nursing staff primarily remained behind glass and interacted with patients mainly during medication line-ups. Medication delivery was delayed due to a pharmacy located over 100 miles away. Patients are discharged without medications—even when insurance paid for a 30-day supply—and prescriptions were sent incorrectly, causing additional withdrawal after discharge. Group therapy was conducted by techs rather than licensed professionals. Individual sessions with licensed staff consisted of brief, non-interactive charting sessions with no meaningful discussion or treatment planning. This facility treated patients more like inmates than people in crisis. The psychological and medical harm from my stay is something I am still trying to recover from.”

“Stayed for 10 days, wish it was less but it was okay all I did was eat and sleep lol. They got me on some good medication that I dearly needed so I thank them for that. I’m just happy to finally leave this place bc it’s not for me, but I thank them for the help they given me.”

“This is one of the worst place from the owner Lisa all the way down to administration the place has no structure, they are LIARS , and manipulators and they promise thing that they can't commit when you arrive Janse (funny looking guy really small real cool but did nothing he promised) came to my house all most every day with different things to butter me up once I agree to go to the program , I got there and the only person who seem to have a clue was Naomi and the techs in the back ms.angel was my driver and she was the sweetest, and got me there safe ms.daja took my vitals and asked me was I okay and did I need anything the whole day I attended my therapist was EN he acted scary of us and we just like him , over all that place is Horrible”

Making a review off mom's account but anyways the staff is really great and they do their jobs and I would reccomed for your loved one to get mental health help to come here . The doctors really care . They make sure you are also ready for discharge and they kept in contact with my family about my care as well.”
