“Dr. Simchak is great! He takes such good care of my mother, and now I'm a patient! He finally diagnosed her with Huntingtons disease after years of being misdiagnosed. He is now helping me through my testing process, and has gone out of his way to get me in quickly. Also Stacy his nurse is one of the nicest people I've ever met. She makes you feel special at every visit, and really listens to you. I've seen some reviews saying his nurse does not care, and that couldn't be further from the truth! She keeps a picture of my mom in her cubicle, and is so fast and thorough with scheduling and prescriptions. Don't listen to those reviews, she is amazing!!”

“Dr. Simchak always makes me feel heard and genuinely seems to care about finding a solution to my health issues. I never feel rushed through my appointments and always leave feeling better than I did when I got there because I leave with hope. Dr. Simchak definitely rates 5 stars. That being said his nurse who is in charge of scheduling the Botox appointments for chronic migraines rates 1 star. It is impossible to get her to return your calls to get your appointment scheduled. Why a neurologists nurse would feel that it is okay to ignore a patient and cause them to go through unnecessary chronic pain is beyond me. It’s honestly just cruel. The worst part is the doctor isn’t even aware the appointments aren’t being scheduled. I imagine he just thinks the patient isn’t complying with the treatment schedule. I called today and asked for the office manager to give me a call so I could get the appointment scheduled and I never heard from her either. It’s now been 4 weeks since my appointment was supposed to be scheduled and I’m now behind on my treatment plan so my migraines are back along with the migraines I’m getting from a TBI. I hate to find another neurologist because Dr Simchak is amazing at his job. I’ve even had to drive up to the office twice in the past due to his nurse basically refusing to call me for my appointments. The rest of his staff is always courteous and friendly. I just wish he’d get a nurse that actually cares about his patients. This was updated on 11/28/22.”
