What patients say on Google

“Haley Ann and all the staff at anew era have been so incredible throughoutmy journey to focus on my mental health. They always answer all of my questions and followed through with scheduling and accommodating me. I love that I can contact my tech through text and that therapy/ NP appointments are available via web. Highly recommend this practice to anyone”

“If I could give zero stars, I would. My initial appointment was with Evelyn. She was late for my appointment, so from the start it wasn't the best experience. Once she took me back to her office, she had ME take my own blood pressure with a cheapie cuff. My BP was sky high, 164/94. I've NEVER had it be anywhere near that. Instead of coming out from behind her desk to do it herself, she said I should go to urgent care. Then she immediately began asking me questions about why I was there. I told her I was interested in being treated for ADHD. I answered many, many questions and she had a huge book with little stickie flags marking the pages which she kept referring to. After I answered her questions and told her a bit about my past (from the 80's!) she told me I have something completely different, but I didn't fit into any one diagnosis. She wrote me a prescription for a medication that isn't meant to treat ADHD, even though she was writing it specifically for that, and didn't diagnose me with that. Sidenote, Evelyn wears flip flops and rubs her feet together under her desk, and it's quite distracting and EXTREMELY stinky. The front desk overcharged me by $200. My insurance company verified that I should have only paid a $25 copay. When I called the billing company that Anew uses, they insisted that my insurance company was confusing medical with dental and said i hadn't reached my deductible yet. Sounds crazy, right?! My insurance company denied the confusion, and again stated I should only owe a copay. Please, please do not go to this practice in Cedar Park. I was mistreated from the moment I was taken back into Evelyn's office. After reading the reviews, I see I'm not the only person that has had issues with this office. Hindsight is 20/20, they say. I know they will reply and post a number for me to call, but I've called every number that was given to me and they all tell me my insurance company confused medical with dental. SMH, I could have saved myself $200 had I gone to a practice that has actual psychiatrists and not just psych nurses. 0/10 recommend.”

“I initially left a five-star review because at first I truly believed TMS was helping me. The staff was kind, professional, and the sessions were comfortable. Early on I felt hopeful and noticed some improvements. Unfortunately, as treatment continued, my experience changed dramatically. I began experiencing significant memory and cognitive problems, along with severe emotional instability, including uncontrollable crying and increased anxiety, that made daily functioning difficult. What I will say is do your own research And don’t Be afraid to stop treatment.”

“Aki Evelyn, is a great doctor and very welcoming. She listens and actually helps me with everything. And the staff at this place is amazing and very friendly, they talk and make sure everything is settled and are all over very caring. I also feel they care for there patients with the upmost care and respect each and every one.”
