“If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Alpha Mental Health Services was unprofessional, dismissive, and unsafe. I had my very first appointment with their psychiatrist, and within minutes she made assumptions about my medication history, refused to review any previous medical records, and twisted my words when I tried to clarify. When I corrected her politely, she abruptly stated she could not see me as a patient and ended the appointment. There was no assessment, no attempt to understand my history, no discussion, and no effort to obtain prior records. Instead of providing continuity of care, the office immediately “patient dumped” me on the spot, which is inappropriate and potentially dangerous for anyone currently in treatment. When I contacted the office afterward to request a different provider or to reschedule with someone else, they refused to help and repeated that they were dismissing me as a patient. This clinic showed a complete lack of professionalism, compassion, and basic clinical responsibility. I would strongly caution others to be aware of how this office handles patients, especially those seeking ongoing psychiatric care.”
