What patients say on Google
“I have been seeing Dr. Kumar since 2014, and he was the first doctor I saw after my bipolar diagnosis. Dr. Kumar is patient, kind, soft spoken, and patient. He really cares for his patients and really wants them to live their best lives. He is very well informed and intelligent, and he knows so much about medications and therapies! He also lets you have a say in your treatment, which is wonderful! And such a breath of fresh air! And when things go awry, he really will help you. He now has a full clinic and staff that can help out when you need something extra, like testing or therapy. Dr. Kumar has always treated me with respect and empathy, which can be hard to find in the psychiatric world. I'm so thankful I found Dr. Kumar! Thank you Dr. K!!!”
“So thankful for Dr. Kumar, he takes Medicare patients and accepts insurance. A big feat in today's world. I have been going since 2014, I have never had an issue with his staff, they are helpful, efficient and do what they can for you! No one has ever been intentionally rude, it's possible mistakes happen. Dr. Kumar is very tempered and he was willing to help me with my medications as I have a combination of illnesses. He does not radically change things up or introduce more than one change at once. He is straightforward and won't just prescribe stuff just to prescribe stuff. Again I recommend him highly.”
“This one star is not based on Dr. Kumar I never got a chance to meet him. My insurance company specifically spoke with him directly about taking me as a new patient which he agreed. I called to make an appointment with him and the person who answered the phone wouldn't allow me to make an appointment with him, she said he's not seeing new patients and I tried to explain that my insurance company spoke with him directly and he agreed to see me as a patient and she just kept saying but he's not seeing new patients and was trying to get me to schedule an appointment with someone else. I informed my insurance company of what transpired and their comment was the same as mine but we spoke to him directly and he said that he would see you as a new patient. They were going to call the office and speak to the the lady but I told them based on her attitude even if they were able to get it straight I would never step foot in that office. It's a dag-on shame that you could be a really good doctor but your staff will bring you down.”
“I was a patient for a few years for medication management. The staff is very rude and have zero empathy towards what patients are going through. The doctor and the staffs' attitude reeks of greed where they would just be interested in getting you to commit to more visits or unnecessary treatments. Doctor Kumar shows zero expertise and its mostly just what you ask him to do.”
